SOUTHERN ENGLISH SETTER SOCIETY

OPEN SHOW 19 July 2026

My thanks go to the committee of the Southern English Setter Society for inviting me to judge their lovely Open Show and for providing excellent refreshments. Special thanks too, to my stewards who kept everything running smoothly and worked hard to keep dogs and exhibitors in the shade as much as possible on what was a very warm, sunny day.

Balanced on the move, using his tail well and with a good, level top line. (BPD)

Nice and straight in front, good width and depth of chest and a strong, level top line. Muscular in the loins and thighs and correct rear angulation. Balanced and true on the move but I would like to have seen a bit more impulsion.
