Robertson’s Soletrader Puppet Master. Basset Griffon Vendeen (Petit) - A quality dog of excellent breed type and balance. Typical head with a keen expression, good bone and substance, and a harsh, weather-resistant coat. Moved out exceptionally well, covering the ground with excellent reach and drive while maintaining a sound outline. Stunning on the move.

RESERVE BEST IN SHOW

Gooch’s Lireva’s Wild To Fly The Bear to Cassibawn. Pomeranian - A smart, attractive dog with a foxy expression and compact outline. Well-presented with a harsh, abundant coat and good tail carriage. Alert and full of character, holding himself proudly throughout. Moved briskly and soundly, catching the eye on the move.


BEST PUPPY IN SHOW

Davies & Honey’s Blue Blood Ambassador Way To Rock with Waverley (Imp Svk) NAF TAF- Tibetian Terrier - A masculine 7½-month-old white and black dog with a lovely outline. Masculine head with dark eye and pleasing expression. Good bone and feet, with moderate hindquarters. Moved soundly and confidently, showing plenty of promise for the future. 

RESERVE BEST PUPPY IN SHOW

Vine, Hassell & Nash’s Urvum Hero at Beanalrem (Imp Ita). GWP - A balanced dog with a good head, beard and brows, giving a typical expression. Good neck and topline, with moderate hindquarters and well-bent stifles. Maintained a pleasing outline and moved out well, covering the ground with ease.


BEST VETERAN IN SHOW

Woodcock’s Ch Abbotsoak Any Dream Will Do. Ibizan Hound - A balanced and elegant dog with a lovely head and typical expression. Good bone without coarseness and pleasing proportions throughout, giving a balanced outline. Moved with a typical suspended trot, showing a long, far-reaching stride. 

RESERVE BEST VETERAN IN SHOW

Day’s Ch Starvon Binit Sinit Dunit with Kirkholme. Swedish Vallhund - A well-balanced bitch with a good shape and pleasing outline. Good head with typical expression and good breed type. Moved freely and actively, with good reach in front and powerful hind action.


BEST SPECIAL BEGINNERS IN SHOW

Soper’s Dobenar Leonidis - Miniature Pinscher - A typical dog with good balance and proportions. Attentive and full of character, with a pleasing outline and good breed type. Moved out well showing true hackney action.

RESERVE BEST SPECIAL BEGINNERS IN SHOW

Mitchell’s Beabeardies Grace Kelly - Bearded Collie - A well-balanced bitch with good breed type and a pleasing outline. Full of fun and character, with good proportions and substance. Moved truly and freely, covering the ground well.


BEST AV IMPORTED BREED REGISTER IN SHOW

Cunningham’s Cracker of Yulyeong (Imp Kor). Korean Jindo - A balanced young dog with good head and body proportions for age. Correct erect ears and a good coat. Well handled and presented, moved soundly and confidently.

RESERVE BEST AV IMPORTED BREED REGISTER IN SHOW

Whitlam & Barber’s Cunninghams Buena Vista at Pokitaru - Black and Tan Coonhound - A 14-month-old balanced bitch with a good head and correct proportions. Excellent forechest, good shoulder lay and depth of chest, with moderate bend of stifle. Moved with purpose and drive.


ADULT HANDLING 17-25 YEARS

1st Isabelle Collier - Excellent dog and handler partnership. Made good use of the corners and presented the dog well throughout. Moved out positively and responded well to the handler. Just needs a little more precision on the final set-up.

2nd Sraeyaa Jayakumar - Another excellent team. Good use of the corners and handled well throughout. The dog was feeling the heat and on the final move was a little too far from the judge. Nevertheless, a capable and well-presented partnership.

ADULT HANDLING 26-49 YEARS

1st Madeleine Bell-Ashe - Completed the corners correctly and moved well throughout. The dog was attentive and responsive. A well-handled and polished performance.

2nd Zoe Davis - A lively, bouncy dog that could be challenging to handle, but the handler did an excellent job. Completed all corners correctly with precise movements and good control. Just needs to centre the dog a little better on final presentation.

ADULT HANDLING 50 YEARS AND OVER

1st Caroline Gammon - Completed all the required moves correctly and confidently. The dog was handled well throughout, with accurate presentation and a smooth, polished performance.

2nd Trudi Mutton - A good partnership that completed the required exercises well. Just needs cleaner corners and to centre the dog on the final presentation.
