2ND AUGUST 2026

I was thrilled to be asked to judge Best In Show for this society, having attended

my first ever open show at their summer show over forty years ago and winning

two classes and BOB with my GSD, and the rest, as they say, is history. I well

remember the committee members from back then, and it was poignant that

two of the stakes classes were in memory of some of them.

The venue was an improvement on previous shows, with much better parking

and a good surface, with adequate ring sizes. The small committee worked hard

all day to provide a lovely atmosphere and the exhibitors all seemed to enjoy

their day.
