J D/B (1) 1 Mrs B J Rose – Rozamie Reflection of Rosencrantz JW. A Chocolate Wild Boar bitch of 15 months. She has a pleasing, feminine and houndy head with excellent pigmentation for a chocolate, correctly sized ears and a well-placed ear set. A neck of good length leads into a very prominent prosternum. Her shoulders are well constructed with tightly held elbows, although I would prefer a little more layback. She has a long enough keel with correct ground clearance, ribs of good length and a short loin, but lost her topline on the move. She moved well at the front but lost it at the rear on the day. Presented in a hard coat with good furnishings.

PG D/B 4 (2) Mrs S Gilkes – Dereheath Love is the Tonic at Birichino. A Dark Wild Boar bitch of 4 years. She has a pleasing, feminine head with dark eyes, a correct bite and well-shaped, correctly positioned ears. A neck of pleasing length leads into well-placed and angulated shoulders, complemented by a prominent prosternum and ample length of keel. I would prefer a little more ground clearance. She has well-sprung ribs of good length leading into a short loin but lost her topline slightly on the move, with well-developed hindquarters giving her a balanced overall outline. Of correct size, she moved out well with purpose. Presented in a hard coat with ample furnishings. RBOB 2 Mrs B J Rose – Marryline Martha with Rosencrantz JW. Wild Boar bitch, now approaching 2 years. Feminine in head with pleasing dark eyes and expression. I would prefer a little more length through the neck. She has enough front angulation, although I would prefer a more laid-back shoulder placement. Adequate through the ribbing, with the loin slightly longer than I would ideally like. Her sufficiently angulated rear quarters give balance to her profile. Stands on neat feet with sufficient ground clearance and was presented in good coat.

O D/B 3 (1) Mrs N F Price – Collidach Thomas Tank JW. A 2-year-old Wild Boar dog with a masculine appearance and always such a happy character. His pleasing head carries a lovely expression, dark eye and ample furnishings. A well-proportioned neck flows into a prominent prosternum and well-laid shoulders. He has excellent ground clearance and a long keel, producing a clean, pleasing underline. He’s got a good rib to loin ratio and maintained a level topline both standing and on the move. I would like to see a little more substance through the hindquarters, although they are well angulated and enabled him to move with plenty of drive BOB. 2 Mrs S Gilkes – Dereheath Shaken Not Stired at Birichino. A wild boar dog of 4 years and litter brother to the winner of PG. He has a pleasing head with a dark, well-shaped eye, correct bite and well-shaped, properly positioned ears. A neck of pleasing length leads into sufficient prosternum. He is a little short in keel and I would prefer tighter elbows. Adequate length of rib and loin, with well-muscled hindquarters that balance his forequarters. He moved parallel in front, although a little close behind. Presented in super, hard condition with a lovely harsh, well-textured coat.
