Judge: Mr James Nicholson (Blacksails)

I undertook this appointment as a stand in Judge, stepping in after the originally appointed judge Miss Claire Reynolds (Gratiabull) had to withdraw due to unforeseen circumstances. I’m pleased to say that everything is now well with her, and I wish her all the best for the future.

1st & BOB - Miss P Gallagher - Vickvally Ruby Aura - 13 months old bitch. Brindle with ideal white markings. She has a kind expression, a well-balanced head, being square in appearance, flat on top with ears that are well set and carried erect. Eyes are dark in colour and round. Muzzle short with stop well defined, with the white blaze between the eyes looking evenly balanced. Viewed from front forelegs are straight and set moderately wide apart with body being compact, short coupled and with a level top line. Moved gracefully around the ring.

Class 242 – Puppy (3/1A)

1st & BP - Lady L Hanslow - D’or Wood Armored Glory at Burenperro (Imp Fra) - 11 month old puppy dog, white with slight red ticking. He appears broad, compact and powerful. Skull broad and flat, eyes round and dark, ears well placed and wide apart on top corners of skull, with a moderate amount of wrinkle, well pigmented and fairly open nostrils Viewed from front legs look stout, straight and set well apart with deep chest. Body tapering slightly from shoulders to hindquarters with a nice topline that was held on the move. Moved well around the ring.

2nd - Mr R Nash - Pacolito Flamin Hot – 6 month old puppy bitch, red brindle and white. Still a very young puppy that just needs a bit more time to develop. She has a good width of skull developing, with a fairly deep stop and reasonable width in muzzle for her age which should continue to mature. Dark eyes set low giving her a kind expression, nice open nostrils, ears rosed nicely. Chest width is coming along nicely, front legs straight and set wide apart, moving well around the ring.

Class 243 – J (2/0A)

1st - Mr D & Mrs D Kent - Unverdadero Stand N Deliver - 12 month old bitch, white with slight red marking. She has a pleasing head with good breadth of skull and well placed thin rose ears, clean in wrinkle with dark round eyes which showed no white when looking forward. Good wide jaw giving a nice expression. Front legs are short, thick set and well boned. Body short coupled, cobby with good depth of brisket. Standing strong on pasterns with nice short nails and tight feet. Moved well around the ring.

2nd - Mr D & Mrs J Shaw - Andlare Carbon Copy - 18 month old bitch, White with slight red markings. She has a broad, flat skull, nice dark round eyes, well placed rosed ears, large wide open nostrils and good breadth of underjaw. A compact, Coby bitch, chest wide and deep, fore legs straight, well boned, low to ground and being strong and muscular in hindquarters with good overall type. Moved well around the ring.

Class 244 - PG (3/0A)

1st & BOB – Mr D & Mrs D Kent – Mystyle The Dutchess At Unverdadero – 22 month old bitch, Red & white. A pleasing bitch with good breed type. She is a very feminine with a beautiful head and expression. Flat skull, clean in wrinkle, lovely round dark eyes and thin well placed rose ears. Muzzle short and broad, with good under jaw that’s gives her that beautiful expression. View from front legs are short, thick set, straight and well boned. A compact, thick set girl thats well boned, has a broad deep chest and a good barrel of rib, with underline showing good tuck up. Moved well around the ring.

2nd – Ms M Cradock - Suluma Queen Victoria – Red & white. She has a nice broad flat skull, eyes are dark set low, ears well placed, thin and rosed back, with a good width of jaw. Chest broad and deep, good width through the shoulders with front legs stout, straight and set wide apart. Good type overall with a nice body shape leading to a good tail. Moved well around the ring.

3rd - Mr D & Mrs J Shaw - Andlare Gee Wizz for Arrenica.

Class 245 - O (1/0A)

1st RBOB – Mr E & Mrs J Braso – Blenhiemstar City Limits - Red & White, He is a well balanced dog with good breadth of skull, fine wrinkling with a defined stop. Ears are small, correctly set and rosed, eyes are dark and nostrils are open, with a nice width of underjaw. Viewed from front legs set well apart, straight and stout. Chest is broad and deep, with good spring of rib. Good shape in body ending in a nice straight tail. Moved well around the ring.
