Many thanks to the officers and committee for the invitation to judge at this superbly organised show, for their hospitality, and to my excellent stewards and all the exhibitors who had entered. Lovely atmosphere in and around the ring.

1 Jones’ Barleydust Dare To Dream. Lovely b/t bitch of 10 months attentive to handler. Flat skull with wide set erect ears, dark almond eyes set wide apart with lovely expression. Moderate neck, well laid shoulders, elbows firm to body. Balanced in angulation, small, firm feet. Well ribbed with level topline, strong short loin, tail set high. Moved free and natural carrying tail over back. BP

1 Hughes’ Ribblespride Kruger JW. Sturdy b/t dog of 19 months with nice proportions. Lovely, masculine head, erect ear set wide apart, joyful expression, parallel planes and moderate stop. Moderate neck to well laid shoulder, tight elbows, ample bone and good pasterns. Ribs well sprung, topline firm and level. Strong loin, high tail set. Hindlegs parallel when viewed from rear. Moved smart and brisk in all directions.

2 Jones’ Mea Miracles Beorn Ragnar Of Barleydust (Imp Fin) Workmanlike b/t dog of 20 months of larger frame. Masculine head, flat skull, soulful eyes set wide apart, tapering muzzle and skull of equal length. Moderate neck to well laid shoulder, firm topline. Ample bone. well-turned stifle, hindlegs parallel. Strong and well-muscled. Moved ok.

1 Lawrence’s Foveaux China Girl JW. A happy, feminine b/t bitch of 2 years with good proportions. Lovely feminine head tapering to nose. Well set ears used to advantage. Parallel planes and well placed stop. Dark almond eye with sweet expression. Moderate neck to well laid shoulder. Lovely front. Elbows firm to body with nice front legs and feet. Well ribbed. Level back with high tail set. Well-turned stifles and low hocks, parallel behind standing and moving. Moved sound and brisk in all directions BOB

2 Hughes’ Poolheywood Barney JW. A confident, masculine b/t dog of 4 years.

Skull flat with well set erect ears. Alert expression and full of character. Level planes with moderate stop. Well muscled with strong bone and moderate angulations. Very good topline with high set tail carried over back. He just wasn’t concentrating on the move today.

1 Venton’s Triforce Tallulah Bankhead at Mistyisle. Feminine, alert, black tri bitch of 14 months with beautiful outline and good proportions. Feminine head, ears well set, expressive almond eyes, well defined stop. Moderate neck slightly arched to well laid shoulders. Good balanced angulations fore and aft, straight front legs with moderate bone, slightly sloping pasterns and good feet. Firm body, well ribbed back with strong loin. Tail to hock. Parallel hocks standing and away. Moved free and true holding her topline. Well presented in good coat. Even though stood alone deserved her BOB

1 Finch’ Ancksunamun Fa Mulan JW. A brindle bitch of 21 months with beautiful outline. Feminine head with good proportions, large ears used well. Dark eye with clearly defined corners. Good neck to lovely front quarters and fore-chest. Tight fitting elbow, good bone, round feet with short nails. Well sprung ribs, firm level topline. Slightly sloping croup to well set tail with good brush reaching to ground. Well angulated hindquarters with vertical hocks. Sound, stylish mover in all directions, pleased to award her BOB

2 Smith’s Ancksunamun Host of Goa'uld with Yecartracey. Brother to 1 and shares many of her qualities. Brindle point tri. Masculine, strong head, large ears used well, dark eye. Muscular neck of good length. Nice front assembly with prominent breast bone and close fitting elbow. Strong bone. Nicely sloping pastern, round feet well padded. Well sprung ribs with strong level back. Moved ok holding his topline.

1 Smith’s Ceranda Gower Diamond JW. A feminine brindle and white bitch of 4 years. Feminine head of nice proportions with well set large ear. Dark eye with corners, kind expression. Moderate neck fitting well to shoulder. Tight fitting elbow, strong bone, sloping pastern and round feet. Well ribbed, level back to sloping croup, tail set and carried correctly. Balanced in angulation, moved soundly in all directions.

1 Smith’s Twinan Roses Are Red with Yecartracey. A delightful red & white puppy bitch of 7 months. Feminine head with sweet expression. Round, dark eye, good bite. Nice length of neck to well laid shoulder. Nice bone, neat oval feet. Balanced in angulations. Level topline. In thick double coat. She moved free and true in all directions with long tail carried low BP

1 Young’s Levisbrooks Lunar Eclipse. A workmanlike tricolour dog of 17 months. Lovely fox shaped head, flat skull, well placed ears used well. Round eye, black pigmentation, moderate stop, good length to muzzle. Nice neck, lovely front, close fitting elbows, good bone and oval feet. Stands in balance with legs well under him. Well ribbed back, firm topline, balanced in angulations. Lovely shiny coat. Smart mover.

Well developed and angulated front. Good bone. Tight elbows down to well arched, oval feet. Level topline firm, well sprung ribs. Well turned stifle with low hocks. Thick double coat, long tail. Moved soundly holding his topline BOB
