Thank you to the officers and committee for my invitation to judge at your show and also to the exhibitors for their support with a great entry today. Thanks to Sue my excellent steward for the day. Massive congratulations to my BOB who went on to win BIS.

2 lovely puppies at different stages of development.

1 – Naulls’s Nellasett Truly Truly

10 month Blue Belton and Tan bitch maturing nicely for one so young. Attractive well proportioned head with dark eye and low set ears. Lean, elegant neck into well laid back shoulders and deep in chest. Straight forearms with plenty of bone, elbows close to body. Level topline which was held on the move. Rear angulation positive and moved out confidently straight and true with a lashing tail. (BP)

2 – Wight & Grimmett’s Samelen Enigmatic Charm

8 month Orange Belton bitch less confident and mature of the 2 , a nicely built puppy with plenty of body, Head pretty with melting expression and dark oval eye. Ears low set and falling next to cheek. Well angulated shoulder and upper arm, deep in brisket with elbows tucked into body. Slightly shorter body (preferable to 1) with level topline and good width of rib, tailset good and held straight on the move. more unsettled today than 1.

1 – Pitts & Normansell’s Larrenie Heartthrob

15 month Blue Belton and Tan dog with fabulous coat. Masculine boy who is mature for his age. Head of correct proportion with dark eye and oval skull from ear to ear, low set ears and fairly deep in muzzle. Muscular neck leading to well laid shoulders and upper arm, forearms are strong and rounded with plenty of bone leading to the best of feet. Topline level, widely sprung ribs and deep in back ribs. Strong wide loins and muscular strong second thigh. Tail held level on movement , driving from hindquarters with head held high. A little excited on the move, my notes say very happy lad seems to be enjoying himself today.

2 – McDowell’s Byedales Agatha Christie

14 month Orange Belton bitch. Feminine elegant girl, head long and lean with well-defined stop, skull oval from ear to ear. Bright expressive eyes, low set ears falling neat by cheek. Lean neck flowing into oblique shoulder placement, deep in chest. Short back with well developed rib and level topline. Strong wide loins and good bend to stifle, hocks well let down nice tightly padded feet. Tail carriage level on the move although did tend to crab a little away although straight and true back.

1 – Watkin’s Albadora Totally Yours For Valsett JW

19 month Orange Belton bitch. Mature feminine girl well proportioned throughout. Elegant in appearance in flowing silky coat. Head suitably lean with no exaggeration, oval skull well defined stop and dark oval eyes giving a melting expression alongside low set ears. Scissor bite with strong jaws. Muscular lean neck leading to well angulated front assembly, chest deep in brisket, straight strong forearms with rounded bone, strong pasterns and tight well padded feet. Back short and level topline wide sprung ribs and deep in back rib. Good bend to stifle and strong muscular legs. Free and elegant movement with powerful drive from hindquarters straight and true with lashing tail (BOB BIS)

2 – Weller’s Sharnyx Amazing Grace At Juldeane

18 month Blue Belton and Tan bitch. Another quality girl, feminine in head with attractive dark oval eye. Ears set low close to cheek, scissor bite. Lovely lean elegant neck clean into well laid back shoulders and good bend of upper arm. Deep in chest with elbows tucked into body. Nice tight well padded feet on straight well boned forearms. Moderate body length with well sprung ribs, level topline and tail carried well on the move. Moved with grace and elegance with head held high. Gleaming coat.

1 – Wilson’s IR SH CH Ravensett Giovanni

Orange Belton dog not looking his age at nearly 8 yr old. Beautiful long lean head with melting expression and dark eye, skull oval with lots of brain room, low set ears. Elegant muscular neck cleanly into strong muscular well laid back shoulders. Chest deep in brisket with strong straight forearms. Moderate length body well sprung ribs and deep back ribs. Muscular loins and excellent muscles to legs and second thigh. Level topline and tailset good. Movement positive and straight the best mover of the day driving forward with head held high. (RBOB)

2 – Welburn’s Oshowa Love To Dream JW

2 year old Blue Belton bitch. Pretty feminine head with dark oval eye, ears set low and fall softly close to cheek. Neck long and elegant leading to well placed oblique shoulders and upper arm. Straight strong forearms with plenty of bone, nice tight feet. Body moderate long . strong level topline and widely sprung ribs including deep back ribs, muscular strong loins and well bend of stifle, hocks let down well. I have watched this girl from the side of the ring and she has suddenly seemed to mature. Moved with purpose and drive using her tail to advantage.
