Cocker Spaniels - Delightful exhibitors and exhibits – camaraderie was evident ringside and merry bustling nature of the breed was shown copiously by all exhibits.

Class 45 Puppy (3,0) - 1st – Remington’s Jessremjul Diamond Pearls – Black bitch 7 months. Beautiful girl – appealing eye in correct head with nothing overdone. Moderate neck into sloping shoulders. Overall balanced, well bodied and sound movement with correct tail carriage. BPIB.  2nd – Pilkington’s Hebdene Hullaballoo at Brimbeck – Golden Dog 6 months today. Still raw and in fluffy puppy coat but balanced and moved well. Tail held a little higher than desirable today but an excellent debut.   3rd Hutton-Baber’s Babtonkelpie Ship Happens – Blue roan bitch 6.5 months

Class 46 Junior (5,2) - 1st – Perry’s Popebel Cassiopeia – blue roan bitch 1 year old. Well balanced and moved well, with level topline and at one with the handler. Dark eye in feminine head with soft expression. Moderate neck into sloping shoulders with correct front and legs. Compact body. Merry tail on the move.  2nd – Bradfield’s Ryallcourt Hattie Tude – black bitch 13 months. Happy girl who pushed hard for 1st. Skull developing well but less body than 1st place. Great movement.  3rd – Remington’s Jessremjul Kuro Onyx – black dog 7 months

Class 47 Limit (6,0) - 1st – Hutton-Baber’s Babtonkelpie Galley Queen JW – blue roan bitch 22 months. Mature for her age and in good hard condition. Well developed skull with feminine head and dark eye. Strong and compact. Neat feet and good bone. Level topline with beautiful silky coat. Moved with ease – balanced with great rear angulation, with a merry cocker tail and lovingly handled. BOB.  2nd – Clifford’s Wyncastle’s Saint Laurent Avec Chamford Bel JCH HJCH JW (IMP HUN) – blue roan dog 22 months. Pleasing head and eye. Solid and well boned. Balanced front and back. Bustling movement but topline not as firm as 1.  3rd – Driver’s Annilann Miss Magicstar at Beckaby – blue roan bitch 7 years.

Class 48 – Open (6,3) - 1st – Remington’s Rozamie Black Pearl Jessremjul ShCEx – black bitch almost 5 years. Compact and well made all round. Feminine head, well defined stop and dark eye. Straight front and sprung rib. Muscled hind quarters pushed her around the ring. Gleaming coat. RBOB.  2nd – Brown’s Reemif Blue Velvet at Popebel – blue roan bitch 5 years. Feminine head with gentle expression. Decent length of neck and straight front. Good depth to body and balanced angulation. Moved well with level topline and great tail movement.  3rd – Driver’s Annilan Mister Spangles at Beckaby JW – blue roan dog 7 years
