Saltburn & District Canine Society

Saltburn & Dist 12/04/26 Rhodesian Ridgebacks Junior 1st Delianzas Shes Timeless, Very promising 9-month-old Rhodesian Ridgeback youngster presenting a smart, clean outline and already showing many desirable breed characteristics. Well muscled for age with good substance and athletic condition, reflecting the strength and endurance expected of the breed. Pleasing head and expression, with a balanced overall appearance and correct breed type. Excellent shoulder placement contributing to a well-constructed front assembly, and a firm, level topline maintained both standing and on the move. Good bone and feet, with a strong frame that should continue to develop with maturity. Chest is naturally still developing and would benefit from further maturation and fill to complete the overall picture. Moved soundly with purpose, displaying the effortless, ground-covering action expected of the breed. Presented and handled to advantage throughout. A quality youngster with much promise for the future and many virtues already in place. Post Grad 1st Msingi Fancy That at Cynami JW, of pleasing breed type and overall quality. Presents an attractive outline with good balance and femininity while retaining the strength and athleticism expected of the breed. Correct ridge and coat, presented in excellent condition and handled to advantage. Well constructed throughout with good bone and substance for a bitch. Neck of adequate length flowing into well-placed shoulders, level topline and strong quarters. Slightly more square in outline than ideal, as I prefer a little more length to complete the classic Ridgeback silhouette. Head was a touch wet for my taste, though still retained the breed's characteristic expression. Moved true both coming and going, maintaining a balanced profile with good reach and drive. Held her shape well on the move and demonstrated the soundness and efficiency expected of the breed. Temperament was steady and confident throughout Open 1st Ch Delianza Whats Your Motive, presenting a clean, athletic outline with good breed type and balance throughout. Well-muscled and fit, displaying the strength, endurance and elegance expected of the breed. Excellent head qualities with correct proportions, keen expression and good pigmentation. Particularly pleasing feet, tight and well knuckled, contributing to the overall soundness of the exhibit. Balanced angulation front and rear with a firm, level topline maintained both standing and on the move. Good depth and substance without losing the desired athletic appearance. Moved true both coming and going, demonstrating sound construction and efficient movement. For complete balance, would prefer a little more layback of shoulder and a smoother transition from neck into shoulder assembly, which would further enhance the overall outline and forehand reach. Tibetan Terrier 1st Kelmorespitz Dark Magic, 7-month-old Tibetan Terrier of decent breed type and showing many of the qualities expected for age. Pleasing head properties with correct proportions and expression, giving a typical appearance. Presented in good condition and handled sympathetically throughout. Still very much a youngster and at a stage where further development is expected. Would like to see more width and substance to the body as maturity comes, which should help complete the overall picture. Topline could be firmer at present, but this may strengthen as the dog continues to develop and gain confidence. Moved true both coming and going, showing soundness and maintaining balance for age. 2nd Routenburn Dileb of Riomhach, pleasing breed type with a balanced and attractive overall appearance. Correct head properties for age, displaying the characteristic expression expected of the breed. Well presented and shown in good condition, with a coat developing appropriately for a youngster. A little longer in body and lower on leg than ideal at present, although maturity may influence overall proportions as development continues. Tail correctly set and carried well over the back, reaching towards the stifle as desired by the breed standard. Good bone and substance for age, with a sound and balanced outline. Moved true both coming and going, maintaining breed type on the move and showing good coordination for a youngster. Post Grad 1st Rogspas Get Yer Back JW, 19 months, this is a promising young Tibetan Terrier showing many of the characteristics of the breed. Typical in outline and presentation, with a pleasing temperament and overall breed character. Well coated and presented in good condition, with a balanced appearance for age. Head displays the correct expression, though I would prefer a little more width throughout the skull to enhance breed type further. Front construction would benefit from greater width, giving a stronger and more typical forehand. Appeared somewhat longer in leg than ideal at present, which affected overall proportions, although maturity may help this balance in time. Moved soundly and showed well, 2nd Routenburn Dileb of Riomhach, pleasing breed type with a balanced and attractive overall appearance. Open 1st Pippalata Overtime Magic, much breed type to admire. Presents a pleasing overall outline and possesses the characteristic expression that is so important in the breed. Attractive head with correct proportions, good eye shape and expression, complemented by a well-set and correctly carried tail which completes the picture. Presented in good coat and condition and shown to advantage. Balanced in body with good substance and bone, maintaining a typical silhouette when standing. Would prefer a cleaner front action when coming towards, as front movement lacked the precision of the best. Also found the return of upper arm somewhat restricted, which affected forehand reach and overall front assembly. Despite these points, moved soundly enough in profile and retained breed type throughout. 2nd Kelmorespitz Love N War, presented in good coat and condition and showing typical breed character throughout. Balanced in outline with good proportions and a sound overall framework. Moved steadily and showed well, displaying the calm and composed temperament expected of the breed. For my preference, would like a little more substance and strength throughout, being somewhat refined in overall appearance. Head lacked the desired width and strength, particularly through the skull and underjaw, which detracted slightly from the characteristic breed expression. Front assembly was on the narrow side and stronger pasterns would further enhance overall soundness and support. Nevertheless, possesses many breed virtues, with a pleasing outline and adequate construction. Presented and handled well Tib Spaniel Open Tibblestars Time Lord, one that immediately appealed for breed type and overall quality. Presents a beautiful outline, full of balance and breed character. Super head with correct proportions, dark expressive eyes and the intelligent, slightly aloof expression so typical of the breed. Well-set ears framing the face and enhancing the overall picture. Shown in excellent coat and condition, with a correct silky texture and abundant mane, all presented to perfection. Good neck flowing into well-laid shoulders, level topline and correct body proportions. Tailset correct and carried well over the back, completing the desired silhouette. Moved true both coming and going, maintaining balance and a pleasing outline in profile. Displayed the free, positive action called for in the breed standard. Temperament excellent, showing confidence and self-assurance throughout. Would prefer stronger feet and firmer pasterns to complete the overall picture 2nd Tibblestars Shady Lady, Excellent 7-year-old Tibetan Spaniel of pleasing breed type, presented in outstanding condition and a credit to its owner. Well-balanced throughout with an attractive head, dark expressive eyes and the characteristic intelligent, aloof expression expected of the breed. Correct neck and forequarters leading into a level topline, with good substance and overall proportions. Coat was of excellent texture and quality, well-presented and enhancing the breed's distinctive outline. Moved soundly and with purpose, maintaining a balanced profile and displaying the confidence and self-assurance typical of the breed. Temperament was exemplary throughout. Sternum was a little more pronounced than ideal and would prefer tighter feet and stronger pasterns to complete the picture. German Spitz Mittel Grad 1st Tispitzas Damned by Rumour of Nosregor, At just 12 months of age, this promising German Spitz Mittel is already displaying excellent breed type and shape. Compact, well-balanced outline with correct proportions and a pleasing Spitz silhouette. Presented in excellent condition with a quality double coat of correct texture, well groomed and enhancing the overall picture. Attractive head with a keen, alert expression typical of the breed. Ears were slightly off set, but this did little to detract from the overall appearance. Good neck and body proportions with a firm topline and well-carried tail completing the outline. Compact in body as desired, giving a balanced and harmonious appearance. Moved true both coming and going, maintaining a sound and positive action. Carried itself confidently and showed with enthusiasm throughout, displaying the lively and intelligent temperament expected of the breed. Open 1st Cadasaro George With Nosregor, Two-year-old German Spitz Mittel of pleasing breed type and overall balance. Attractive head with alert expression, neat ears and the keen outlook expected of the breed. Presented in good coat and condition, with a well-furnished double coat contributing to a typical Spitz outline. Showed confidently throughout and displayed the lively temperament so characteristic of the breed. Compact in body with adequate bone and substance. Would prefer a little more length of neck to enhance overall elegance and improve the flow into the forequarters. Also lacked the degree of shoulder layback seen in the younger exhibit, which affected the overall picture and front assembly. Nevertheless, maintained a pleasing outline and moved soundly, carrying itself well around the ring. German Spitz Klein Open 1st Longsdale Miss Holmes, Tidy, compact example of the German Spitz Klein, presented in excellent condition and shown to advantage. Pleasing overall balance with a typical Spitz outline, enhanced by a quality double coat of correct texture and presentation. Alert, confident temperament with the lively character expected of the breed. Good head proportions with a keen expression and correctly carried ears. Would prefer a little more fill beneath the eyes to complete the desired expression, but this did not detract greatly from the overall picture. Well-bodied with sufficient substance for size and a firm outline. Moved true both coming and going, maintaining balance and soundness throughout. Carried itself well on the move, retaining its compact shape and breed type Dalmatian Puppy 1st Salvadorada Magic Touch for Drengmar, Well-made puppy with much to admire and a promising future ahead. Attractive youngster of good breed type, displaying excellent head qualities with correct proportions, pleasing expression and good overall balance. Particularly liked the angulation front and rear, which contributed to a harmonious outline and sound construction. Presented in good condition with correct spotting and coat texture for age. Good neck flowing into well-laid shoulders, with adequate depth and substance developing as expected in a youngster. Moved true both coming and going, covering the ground with ease and maintaining balance throughout. Would prefer a firmer topline, which could be harder both standing and on the move, but this was the only point that detracted from an otherwise pleasing picture. Showed confidently and made the most of its many virtues. 2nd Salvadorada Mirror Image, Very promising 7-month-old Dalmatian, smartly presented and exceptionally clean, making an attractive picture both standing and on the move. Pleasing breed type with a balanced outline and well-distributed spotting. Good head proportions and expression for age, with plenty of scope for future development. Well bodied youngster with good depth and substance for one so young. Firm topline maintained both standing and in motion, giving a pleasing overall outline. Moved well in profile, covering the ground with ease and showing the free, rhythmic action desired in the breed. Demonstrated confidence and a willing attitude throughout. A very attractive youngster with much to admire and a bright future ahead. On the day, just not quite as together in overall maturity and finish as the first-placed exhibit Junior 1st Salvadorada Lets Get Loud, Well-typed Dalmatian with a pleasing overall outline and many breed virtues. Well up to size but remaining balanced throughout. Clean, expressive head with correct proportions and good breed character. Attractive spotting pattern and presented in excellent condition, with a correct coat texture and finish. Good length of upper arm, contributing to a well-constructed front assembly, and standing on sufficient leg to give the desired outline and athletic appearance. Neck of good length flowing into well-laid shoulders, with a firm topline and balanced body proportions. Strong hindquarters providing sound support on the move. Moved true both coming and going, maintaining a balanced profile and covering the ground with ease. Showed well throughout and displayed the stamina and athleticism expected of the breed. 2nd Saladorada Look at Me, good breed type and a pleasing overall outline. Correct head proportions with an alert expression, complemented by clean spotting and a short, dense coat presented in good condition. Well balanced throughout with adequate bone and substance, showing many of the qualities expected of the breed. At present carrying a little extra weight and consequently appearing somewhat thick through the body, which detracted slightly from the overall athletic picture. Would benefit from a little more length of neck to provide a more elegant outline and a longer upper arm to improve forehand construction and overall balance. Nevertheless, retains a sound framework and typical breed characteristics. Moved steadily, maintaining a pleasing profile and displaying the endurance and capability associated with the breed Post Grad 1st Portunes St Jimmy at Exayeex JW, good breed type and overall balance. Attractive head and expression, with correct spotting pattern and coat texture. Presented in good condition and shown to advantage, displaying a willing attitude and excellent ring training throughout the assessment. Would prefer more development of forechest and a stronger front assembly to enhance the overall picture. Lacks some return of upper arm, which affects the ideal forehand construction and consequently limits reach in movement. Nevertheless, maintained a pleasing outline and carried itself well in the ring. Temperament was excellent, remaining attentive to the handler and performing confidently throughout. Well schooled and a credit to its owner. 2nd Portunes Whatsername, pleasing breed type and a balanced overall appearance. Correct head proportions with a typical expression and good spotting pattern. Presented in good condition with a clean outline and sufficient substance for the breed. Chest showed adequate depth and development, contributing to a sound overall picture. Would prefer a little more return of upper arm to improve forehand construction and overall balance. Appeared somewhat leggy in proportion, which detracted slightly from the desired outline. On the move, remained clean and true both coming and going, demonstrating soundness, although lacked the reach in front that would be expected from more correct forequarter assembly. Open 1st Salvadorada Kinky Boots JW, exhibiting good breed type and presented in excellent condition. Attractive head with a typical expression, correct spotting pattern and a clean, well-maintained coat. Well balanced overall with good temperament and ring presence, showing confidently throughout the assessment. Good depth of body and substance, although carrying more bone than I would ideally prefer for complete adherence to the breed standard. Neck somewhat thick, which detracts slightly from the elegant, clean outline characteristic of the breed. Also a little longer in body than ideal, affecting overall balance and proportions. Moved soundly and maintained a pleasing profile, demonstrating many of the qualities expected of the breed. 2nd Bellehoud Tipple at Portunes JW, Feminine Dalmatian of pleasing breed type with a smooth, balanced outline and overall attractive appearance. Well-presented and shown in good condition, with clean lines and correct spotting pattern. Attractive head and expression, with good proportions throughout and sufficient substance without losing femininity. Neck of adequate length flowing into well-placed shoulders, with a level topline maintained when standing. Would prefer greater width through the front to enhance overall strength and balance. Croup could be better developed and this affected the overall outline slightly. On the move, lacked the drive and positive rear action called for in the breed, preventing her from making full use of her construction. Akita Open 1st Rominjay King of My Heart, Honest 2-year-old Akita of pleasing breed type, presenting a balanced outline with good substance and bone appropriate for age. Well-bodied throughout with the strength and presence expected of the breed. Broad, correct head with good proportions, complemented by a pleasing expression. Dry in head and clean through the cheeks, adding to the typical Akita appearance. Firm topline maintained both standing and on the move. Good depth of body and overall construction, presented in excellent condition with a coat of correct texture and quality. Moved true coming and going and demonstrated good drive from the rear, covering the ground with purpose while maintaining a balanced outline. Would prefer a better return of upper arm to improve forehand construction and allow for greater reach in front. However, this was a relatively minor point in an otherwise sound and typical exhibit. Jap Shiba Inu Grad 1st Burwen Becalm Blue, presenting a balanced outline and displaying the alert, confident character expected of the breed. Well presented and shown in good condition, with correct coat texture and overall proportions. Moved soundly enough to demonstrate breed type and possessed many of the qualities associated with the standard. Head was somewhat plain in type and I would prefer better eye shape to enhance the typical keen and spirited expression. Front could benefit from greater width and substance, while tighter, more compact feet would improve overall construction. Would also like to see a better return of upper arm, which would contribute to improved forehand balance and reach on the move. Open 1st Burwen Pink Cadillac at Echezeaux, Typical example of the Shiba Inu with pleasing breed character and many of the qualities associated with the breed. Correct head proportions with an alert expression and well-carried ears, giving the desired keen appearance. Presented and handled well, showing a confident and composed temperament throughout. At present carrying excess weight, which detracted somewhat from the overall outline and athletic appearance expected of the breed. Coat was lacking in condition and density on the day, preventing the dog from showing the harsh outer coat and well-developed undercoat called for in the standard. Would also prefer a little more length of neck to create a cleaner outline and better balance, together with improved return of upper arm to enhance front assembly and reach. Moved true and balanced both coming and going, maintaining soundness and good coordination in profile. Utility Group 1st Akita 2nd Penbro Seize The Day at Eivisah, Well-presented example of a Miniature Schnauzer, shown in excellent condition and expertly prepared, presenting a smart, clean outline. Strong head with good proportions, correct muzzle length and overall breed character. Would prefer a better eye shape to further enhance the keen, alert expression. Long, elegant neck flowing into the body and contributing to a pleasing overall silhouette. Good body proportions with sufficient substance and a firm outline. Tailset correct and carried well, completing the picture. Would benefit from better shoulder placement and more return of upper arm, which would improve forehand reach and overall balance in movement. Moved true both coming and going, maintaining a level outline and demonstrating soundness. Showed with confidence and typical attitude throughout. 3rd Wyldette Lilith Never Eve, Promising young female Shar Pei of pleasing breed type and overall balance. Tidy in build with a well-proportioned outline, giving a balanced and harmonious appearance. Excellent head properties, displaying the characteristic expression and breed features expected, with correct ear placement and good muzzle proportions. Well presented and shown in good condition. Adequate bone and substance for age, with a firm topline and balanced construction throughout. Moved true both coming and going, maintaining her shape well on the move and demonstrating sound, efficient action. Her balanced outline was particularly pleasing, both standing and in motion. Still youthful and with time on her side, but already displaying many of the qualities desired in the breed. Possesses a confident and composed temperament 4th Dalmatian Puppy Group 1st Dalmatian 2nd Standard Poodle, A very promising female puppy of excellent breed type and quality. Moved true both coming and going, maintaining her shape and topline on the move. Showed herself with confidence and style, giving a glimpse of the quality she possesses. On this occasion, would have benefited from a larger ring to fully demonstrate her reach, stride and overall movement, as I feel there is more to see than the available space allowed. 3rd Mini Sch, tidy smart compact female, who moves well and robust. 4th TT Josh Henderson
