My thanks to the committee for their invitation to stand in to judge at this lovely show as the scheduled judge was unwell. Also my gratitude to the exhibitors who braved the snow & cold to still attend & to my stewards who were very efficient.

1st Phoenix CH Nordicwinds Grtest Showman JW ShCEx OSW

A strong & substantial 4yr old male. Masculine head with typical expression for this breed. Expressive correctly set eyes, Correct dentition & stop. Standing & moving he has a firm topline and well-set tail, carried correctly. Good angulation front & back, & despite the floor being a little slippy, he moved with drive & purpose, A dog very capable of doing the job he was bred for. Although he stood alone in the entry, he deserved his BOB & WG3

2 ½ yr. old substantial girl full of breed type. The most lovely expression with dark eyes, Substantial with feminine head, good reach of neck into strong shoulders. Depth to brisket & good ribbing. Strong straight top line, correct tail set. Well angulated & lovely feet. Moved with drive & purpose on a challenging surface.

2nd Jeffries Funatic Unstoppable at Esslinbern (Imp Fin)

6mth old puppy with good qualities. She is at the real baby stage, and just needs to firm up & for her top line to straighten. Feminine head, good muzzle & expressive dark eyes. Width & depth to her chest, with good brisket & ribs. Lovely tight feet, moved well for her age. BPIB

A strong & substantial 4yr old male, who is the epitome of his breed. Super bone, and an abundance of coat in great condition. Masculine head with correct ear set, dark expressive eyes & Super temperament. Level strong top line, strong front & rear, depth to chest & tidy feet. Moved with purpose with drive from the rear BOB & WG4

2nd Jeffries Esslinbern Dilly Dulcia

Lovely feminine 2 ½ yr. old girl, lighter in frame than 1st. Expressive feminine head, with dark eyes & good dentition. Front assembly not as good as 1, very animated on the move, with good muscle tone throughout.

Lovely outgoing 4yr old Brindle Male. Masculine head, with strong muzzle, distinct stop & Correct dentition. Well placed dark eyes and ears set on correctly. Depth to Chest, with good brisket. Slope to top line. Lovely tight feet. Moved out well. BOB & WG2

16mth Male of good shape & substance. Expressive head, correct dentition. Well placed eyes & correctly set ears. Good reach of neck. Good front assembly, straight front & lovely feet. Depth of chest and ribs that extend well back. Well angulated rear with excellent muscle tone. Moved well BOB

2nd Woodhouse, Woodhouse & Kershaw Aritaur Nightshade into Moongates

6 ½ mth old female puppy. A delight to judge, she is so well put together & outgoing in her confident nature. Correct head, well filled out under eyes, with excellent dentition, well-shaped & placed ears Lovely shape with good front & strength in her rear allowing her to move effortlessly & with purpose. Excellently schooled. BPIB & WPG1

2nd Boulton Aritaur Roulette Red. 6 mth Deep Red girl. Another shapely girl, and sister to 2nd in PG and shares many of her qualities. Correct set eyes & ears, with good shaped muzzle. I preferred the steadier movement of her sister today.

1st Hugill Shalrace A Million Dreams.

8mth Harlequin. Beautiful head & length of neck. Good muzzle. Well set eyes & ears, good dentition. Depth to chest, with good ribbing. Correct tail set. Moved well. BOB, BPIB & PG4

2nd Davies Kinniegans Tulsa King

8mth old striking male. Tall & full of substance. Lovely expressive head with good planes. Correct dentition, Correctly placed ears, Dark eyes (he was full of mischief & it showed right here!) Shapely long neck. Good front assembly, deep chest, length to ribs. Once he settled down, the few steps he managed without jumping, moved really well, but he was giving his handler a bit of a workout which unfortunately cost him the class.

Rising 3yr old girl who is full of breed type & substance. She demanded your attention. Her head is well rounded, clean, dark eye full of expression. Short muzzle &, Lovely shape, correct length of lip. Good angulation front & back, stands true. Straight front. Broad rear with well-muscled 2nd thigh. Lovely tight feet & strong hocks. Lovely mover & the sweetest of nature. Shown in great condition BOB & WG1

2nd Crosier Nurburgnewf Cayman ShCex

Unfortunate to compete against the winner. Lovey 7yr old male, another who exudes breed type. Substantial boy with good bone, lovely feet strong thighs. Length to neck, decent front & rear. Preferred the front assembly of the winner. Shown in lovely condition & the best of temperaments. Moved very well, wouldn’t think he was 7 ½.

14mth male, who scored in his broad head & deep muzzle. Lovely dentition. Correct eye shape & colour. Ears well set. Strong muscular neck. Good front assembly & width in his chest. His overall construction throughout is pleasing & he moved with purpose holding his top line throughout. Great expression & temperament. Well-muscled rear. BOB

2nd Simpson Rominjays Venus

A delightful 6mth puppy bitch. Another with plenty of breed type. Lovely head on this baby too. Depth to her muzzle, lovely dentition. Expressive well set eyes of correct shape & colour. Well set ears which she used to her advantage. Deep chest & good shoulder placement & front assembly which showed in her reach of movement. Standing in profile & moving she gives a lovely picture. Moved with purpose & excellently schooled. Her future should be bright promising. BPIB & WPG3

3yr old girl. Dark eye, pleasing expression. A little flat on the pastern, but she moved ok. Decent neck, & ok front assembly. Depth to ribs, fair angulation front & back. Lovely temperament.

2nd Burton Eyredazzle Red Ruby at Rottiehause

Rising 17mth girl who was quite enthusiastic today. Ok for bone, nice shape to her. I would like a little more length to her neck to give a better profile overall. A little wide at front on the move. Correct shape & colour eyes & well placed ears. Lovely temperament

7mth old fawn male of good breed type. A little apprehensive to being handled at first, but with the confident attitude of his handler he overcame this quickly. Shapely young boy, with plenty of substance at this age. Scores in head with correct proportions. Well filled cheeks, good stop & short muzzle. Correctly shaped & placed ears giving that lovely square appearance to the head. Moderate length to neck & decent front assembly. Strong top line, well ribbed & muscled throughout. Strength in his rear. Moved well. BPIB & WPG2

2nd Turrell Danixaris Fabulous Zee (German Pinscher)

15mth black & tan girl. Lovely expression & breed type. Good head shape, dark expressive eyes. length to neck & Depth to her chest, reaching to her elbows. Well placed ears completing a lovely head piece. Good condition throughout. Moved & handled well.

1st Bown & Reader King of the Manor by Sundabish

A substantial 4yr old fawn male who scored in head. Expressive dark eyes, width to skull & well placed ears giving the required shape to the skull. Strong long neck, lovely front assembly with plenty of width to chest & depth. Moved very well with drive, but as the ring was quite small for a dog with such a stride, it wasn’t to his full potential. None the less, he deserved his class win & BOB

2nd Brinkybull Wilfys Legacy at Sundabish (Ai) (Imo Aus) Bullmastiff

2yr old fawn, taller & longer than 1st. Correct dark eye & dentition. Strength in his wide skull. Well placed ears. Lovely expression overall. To be picky he’s a little long in body at the moment which for me gave a bit of an unbalanced profile. Moved very well, just pipped by 1st on the overall proportions.

8yr old black girl in the most amazing condition & coat. Beautiful headpiece with expressive dark eyes & Square muzzle completing a balanced head profile. Her body condition is outstanding, toned muscle throughout. You just wouldn’t think she was a veteran by the way she carries herself & her movement is lovely to watch. I’m not surprised she has so many titles, they have been well deserved. A pleasure to judge.
