I was honoured to receive this appointment 2 years ago for a breed I have owned and loved for 9 years. Thank you to the committee for this opportunity to judge this show. Thank you to each exhibitor who entered and accepted my decision’s and for staying for the show in the heat. There were some lovely dogs, and it made for some very hard decisions. Some very promising puppies for the future and the veterans who did not show their ages at all. My stewards Rubina and Caroline were great and kept everything moving.

1 Clubb, Mason & Angus’s Oroshaza Bernard 

6 months, nice dog, a little paler than 1. Nice head, good depth of chest, level topline, which he held well. Nice eye colour. Good feet. Still a little loose on the move but he’s still very young. 

2 Dallas’s Ivyvizbridge Ferrari

Another nice puppy has a lot of maturing to do. Finer than one. Would like a little more stop. Needs a more chest but should come with age good feet. Moved well once settled.

I’ve watched this puppy from the ringside and he has matured nicely. Lovely head with correct amount of stop. Good depth of chest and level top line. Carried tail well on the move and moved with good drive. Pleased to award BPIS and was considered for reserve best dog 

2 Whitfield’s Russetmantel Teak Von Alfzbet

Another lovely dog just a little heavier than 1 and was very close between them. Nice head with just the right amount of stop. Good depth of chest, level topline held well on the move. Moved well with drive

18months and maturing nicely. Nice body and shown in good condition. Level topline and good tail set. Moved well carrying tail well on the move.

2 Carter’s Linderwood Cast a Spell at Madarkutya

Another nice dog just a little finer that 1 and just needs a little more maturing. Level topline which he kept on the move. Moved well

4yr. Nice head and good amount of stop, would like a little darker eye. Good depth of chest and nice lay of should leading to level topline. Shown in good condition with plenty of muscle. Moved well with plenty of drive.

Another nice dog. Good amount of chest and level topline. Moved well with good drive, would just like a little more muscle.

Stood alone but such a lovely dog. Lovely head and expression. Correct eye colour, lovely outline when stood. Strong level topline. Moved well with plenty of drive and correct tail carriage. 

Open Dog (7,3)

1 Bradley’s Sh Ch Highforce All or Nothing JW ShCEx OSW

Having watched this dog from the ring side and previously given him a BOB, it was nice to see how much he had matured. Lovely head with correct amount of stop, good lay of shoulder and level top line that was held on the move. Shown in great condition and well muscled throughout. Moved well today with plenty of drive, didn’t put a foot wrong. Pleased to award him best Dog and BIS 

2 Warnes’s Debian Deerhunter JW

Another lovely dog. Lovely head and expression. Nice arched neck and level top line, didn’t move as well as I’ve seen go before. Looking a little unsettled on the move, he did move better in the challenge. Would like to see him go again the hands of owner

10 and a half and absolutely not showing his age at all. Little on the darker side. Moved very well plenty of reach and drive. Lovely head, good lay of shoulders and strong top line. Pleased to award him RBD

7months. Nice bitch, good colour. Nice head would like a little darker eye but that will come with age. Good depth of chest for age, could do with a little more turn of stifle. Moved well with correct tail carriage.

11 months and maturing very nicely. Creating a lovely outline, would like a little more stop. Strong neck leading to a good lay of the shoulders and a level topline. Good turn of stifle. Moved well with plenty of drive.

Junior Bitch (5,3)

1 Priestley’s Eltrym Shoot Star

Nearly 18 months old bitch, looks good in outline. Head and muzzle a little long. Good depth of chest with prominent breastbone. Level topline and good turn of stifle. Little loose on the move currently. 

2 Steeden’s Lindenwood Witchcraft

Nice bitch would like to see with a little more weight. Nice head, eyes need to darken a little. strong neck leading to strong shoulders and level topline. Good turn of stifle. Would benefit from being moved a little faster

Yearling Bitch (3,0)

1 Turtle’s Vizslanya Novemberi

18 months and such a lovely bitch. Stood well with good overall shape. Lovely head. Strong neck leading to well laid shoulders. Good depth of chest. Level topline carried well when stood and when on the move. Good tuck up and turn of stifle. Moved well with plenty of drive.

Lovely bitch just carrying a little too much weight. Nice outline with lovely head and expression, good amount of stop and correct eye colour. Nice lay of should and level topline, good turn of stifle. Moved well with plenty of drive. Considered for RBB

2 Jones’s Silvestre Wednesday

Little paler in colour than one but another nice bitch. Nice level top line with good tail carriage. Crabbing a little today on the move today.

Limit Bitch (12,3) By far the hardest class of the day full of quality dogs.

So close to one and could have been the other way around on a different day. Lovely head and expression. Strong arched neck and good depth of chest. Strong level topline and good turn of stifle. Moved really well.

2 Steeden’s Lindenwood Hocus Pocus 

I’ve placed this bitch first before a couple of years ago and she’s just as good now, just a shame to come up against one. Lovely head, good strong arched neck and level topline. Good turn of stifle. Moved really well.
