The Polish Lowland Sheepdog Club Of Wales & West Of England

Open Show 27/9/26

My thanks to the committee for kindly inviting me to judge at this wonderfully friendly show, and to the exhibitors for allowing me the privilege of judging their dogs. The outside ring allowed the dogs to show off their movement to advantage, and for the most part movement was very sound. Temperaments were good, dentition was correct and presentation was excellent. There were a few with short upper arms, but otherwise I thought the overall quality was excellent.

LD (1/0). 1. Ponadto Magic Black imp POL. Well grown and totally masculine throughout, this dog has a super head of correct proportions with a well defined stop, oval eyes with well pigmented rims. Strong neck into a fair front assembly, firm topline that was held on the move and well developed rear quarters. Moved soundly in all directions. RBD

OD (3/1). 1. CH. Leon Astarte Gold Ama Me At Chrevle SHCEX. Imp POL. Shown in super coat and condition, this boy is a really nice example of the breed. Good masculine head that is balanced and handles well, muscular neck into well laid back shoulders, deep brisket, well ribbed, broad over the loin and correct height to length. Well muscled rear with short powerful hocks that he used to advantage on the move. BD & RBIS. 2. CH. Dorianblue Quizzical. Another quality dog shown in hard condition of excellent make and shape. He’s an absolute picture standing but didn't have his mind on the job today and sadly threw it away on the move.

Feminine head that’s developing well, good reach of neck into correct front, she has a particularly good length of upper arm and correct return. Good height to length, her backline needs to strengthen, correct croup and well turned stifle. Overcome by youthful exuberance on the move. BBPIS
