Hungarian Puli Club Of Great Britain

What a wonderful show to judge at. Thank you to the Club and it’s members for this kind invitation and hospitality, the exhibitors for their entries and the exhibits for putting on a polished performance. The personalised judges badge didn’t go unnoticed too – what a lovely touch and keepsake. Thank you to the lovely stewards for being so helpful too.

Puppy Dog

1st Porgeloci Zero (Imp HUN) – typical immature puppy coat on this white happy youngster who certainly made his presence known in the ring with his outgoing character. Square in outline with correct topline and tailset. Dark pigment and scissor bite. Although his chest needs to develop he has well laid shoulders and decent front assembly. Once he concentrated, he moved around the ring with positive movement.

Post Grad Dog & Limit Dog

1st Montydom Gorgous George – 5yo lad with a lovely white coat. Head of good proportions, scissor bite and dark pigment. Medium neck. Level topline, decent ribs and tight elbows. Well muscled rear. Moved OK but would have liked to have seen him a little more animated, I expect he would benefit from an outdoor ring.

Open Dog

1st Ch Kashebluli There We Are Then JW ShCEx OSW – masculine immaculately presented lad with square outline, spot on head proportions and lovely dark eye, nose, mouth and lip pigment. Correct bone, substance and so fit and well-muscled. Correctly angulated front and rear which really shows off that quick movement. His outgoing, cheeky and charming disposition in the ring teamed with his movement and coat made him by overall winner on the day. Best In Show

Veteran Dog – this was such a wonderful class of dogs to judge! Such tough decisions between four super examples of the breed.

1st Ch Catsun Comanche Legacy ShCEx VW – 9 yo but showing no sign of age from his fabulous immaculately presented black coat to his super fit, toned body condition. Correct head proportions, dark pigment throughout and scissor bite. Correct angulation front and rear, tight elbows, super topline and correct tailset. On the move he shines – he just needs to remember to concentrate to really show off his typical movement. Res Best Dog, Best Veteran in Show and Res Best in Show

2nd Ch Black’n Blue’s Name Of The Game Silkata (Imp DNK) – another super veteran of 12 years. Super coat of good quality and quantity. Another with a balanced head and dark pigment. Correctly angulated front and rear allowing for that quick, lively movement.

Special Non Black Open Dog

1st Montydom Gorgous George – as Post Grad/Limit

2nd Silkata Howay Hugo with Gandaki – much to like about this masculine male. Square profile and correctly angulated front and rear allowing for super movement in the ring. Well-presented and fit. Just preferred the head on the winner.

Puppy Bitch

1st Szentmihalyi-Szabo Saci (TAF) – oh she is a little poppet! She is a smashing 8mo puppy. Feminine throughout and covered in a white puppy coat. Square profile with correct bone, topline and tailset. Super rear angulation and she really moved so well for one so young. She was a tad hesitant on the table but nothing of concern and her happy disposition on the floor and in the ring was evident. Best Puppy In Show.

Yearling Bitch

1st Tyngeli Make A Wish for Gemeau super 20mo feminine black girl who is square in profile with a beautifully balanced head of spot on proportions which is so attractive. Dark pigment with scissor bite. Super front and rear angulation with correct topline and tailset. Moved true in all directions and a joy to watch. Res Best Bitch.

Post Grad Bitch

1st Montydom Back To The Future for Weetoneon – another feminine black girl who’s coat isn’t yet at full maturity. Nice head, correct bite and dark pigment. Square outline, level topline with required loin. Good rear angulation with low set hocks.

Limit Bitch

1st Catsun Pop My Cork – a contender for the top honours as she is a super girl. Square in outline with correct bone. Super expression and dark pigment. Correct angulation front and rear and sound on the move in all directions with the correct quick lively movement. Really appealed to me, quality girl.

2nd Montydom Back To The Future for Weetoneon – see PGB

Veteran Bitch

1st Ch Callendu Diamonds’n Pearls – Super veteran again showing little sign of being in this age class. Nice head leading to a medium neck and good front assembly. Firm topline both stood and on the move. Good angles front and rear. Moved soundly in all directions. Presented in a tip top condition. Best Bitch and Best Opposite Sex In Show.

2nd Silkata Sosumi –She is as fit as a fiddle and easily showcases that desired lively movement. She is well constructed with correct angulation front and rear, firm topline, and correct loin. A pocket rocket showing no sign of her years.
