1. Milton’s Ch Wilmit Jugeote. Quite taken with this bitch, soundly constructed all through and most impressive on the move! Sound as a bell up and down and really easy in profile. Beautiful head proportions with good length of foreface, lovely eyes and expression. Good coat and condition. BOB.
2. Cooper & O’Brien’s Ch Jayanel Royal Affair at Katillien. Excellent proportions and outline, which he holds on the move. Well angled both ends and uses this in profile where he goes with a lovely carriage, not as positive going away as 1. RBOB.
3. Bailey & Yates’ Wilmit Mirabelle for Boneveon.
Basset Griffon Vendeen (Petit) Puppy (3,1)
1. Bartley’s Erylan Astraeus. Still very much a baby, but has pleasing overall proportions. Masculine head, attractive expression. Needs to settle into his hindquarters as he’s a touch bum high as present. Super fill of forechest and spring of rib. Good profile stride, a little fond of his tail at present. BP.
2. Osbourne’s Beaujons Sophie avec Braego. Pleased for type with very good head proportions, short tail and a good coat. Would like more angulation fore and aft. Not the profile movement of 1, but very true in the rear.
Basset Griffon Vendeen (Petit) Junior (3,1)
1. Cooper & Cadmore’s Soletrader Golly Miss Molly. So very typey, my notes read ‘short, short, short’, foreface, back, tail. Super proportions and outline and very active on the move with an easy stride. A touch wide coming towards. Liked her temperament a lot giving her handler a hard time, a real fidget. BOB.
2. Foote & Mcauley’s Erylan Queen Maeve. Giving away a lot in maturity here. Very sweet and feminine. Fairly well made all through and a nice type. Feminine head and well set ears. Holds her topline on the move, if not as positive as 1.

Basset Griffon Vendeen (Petit) Open (6,1)
1. Bartley’s Ch Erylan Poseidon De La Mer JW ShCEx OSW. Mature dog who is very much a showman, liked his temperament. Very good proportions and outline. Masculine head of ok proportions, large dark eye. Pleasing angles fore and aft. Very true and active on move. Just preferred the type of BOB. RBOB.
2. Reid’s Maudaxi Joanie Loves Chacha JW. Feminine all through. Slightly longer in proportions than 1, but still balanced and holds an excellent topline. Pleasing head and foreface. Not as well made in front as 1. Well ribbed back. Liked her coat structure. Moved well with good carriage, if not as true as 1.
3. Reid’s Maudaxi Rebel Diamonds JW.

Ibizan Hound Yearling (2,0)
1. Woodcock’s Abbotsoak Miss Honey. Lovely outline and proportions, she presented a very pleasing picture. Beautiful head and expression, well set ears. Long neck and balanced angulation fore and aft. Goes on a typical stride whilst holding her outline. Obvious quality. RBOB.
2. Worthington’s Abbotsoak Ghost Of Magnus. Certainly masculine. He too has excellent proportions but not as firm in topline as 1. Super bone and feet. Scores in underline and has moderate rear quarters. Not as together coming towards as 1 but balanced in profile.
Ibizan Hound Limit (2,0)
1. Woodcock’s Abbotsoak Summer Nights. Elegant and feminine bitch who has a lovely outline. Pleasing head of good length and typical expression. Long, crested neck. A little longer in the loin than the Yearling winner and doesn’t carry herself as well on the move so lost out for RBOB.
2. Taylor’s Yetti (Imp ESP). Rough coated. She is well proportioned but could settle into her topline more. A well balanced head, though ears could be higher set. Good strength to hindquarters and generally stands four square. Could be more fluid in front movement.
Ibizan Hound Open (4,0)
1. Taylor’s Ch Abbotsoak Carousel JW ShCEx OSW VW. My notes say ‘absolute beauty’. So typical in every way both standing and moving. Beautiful head and expression. Smooth and well made throughout. She moves so well on a light stride with a typical slight hover. Type and quality through and through. Pleased to see her go BVIS. BOB.
2. Woodcock’s Ch Abbotsoak Any Dream Will Do. Litter brother to 1 and he is very similar in type and outline. Admired his moderation over 3. Masculine and balanced head. Perhaps not quite as clean and smooth in outline as 1. Again, very typical mover with good drive from the rear and hover in front. I was considering him for RBOB but the charm of the young Yearling bitch stole it from him.
3. Vescan’s Ch Peacemaker Apache Baltas Vejas (Imp LTU).
Norwegian Elkhound Puppy (0,0)
Norwegian Elkhound Yearling (1,0)
1. Gilbert’s Bowerhinton Bailey Grace for Balsemasi. Sweet bitch in a small package. Pleasing feminine head with good length of foreface, dark eyes and small ears. Well bodied. Could have a touch more leg for ideal proportions. Good reach in front but could be a bit more positive in the rear movement.

AV Minor Puppy (12,7)
1. Catharell’s Kinabula’s Master Of Joy. Rhodesian Ridgeback. A lovely youngster who I judged only the week prior. He scores very much for his outline and proportions. Quite raw and needing to fill out but nice frame to do so. Moved even better today if anything, very light on his feet.
2. Coote’s Kelsomaid Black Dragon. Dachshund (Miniature Smooth-Haired). Fairly well proportioned bitch in good body. Sweet feminine head and correct ear set. Fair neck and well angulated front. Ok for ribbing. Level topline. Moves true up and down.
3. Cooper’s Balluaren’s Diamond. Whippet.
AV Puppy (7,2)
1. Sykes’ Veredon Not On Your Nelly. Whippet. Made of a stronger mould but is in proportion with a smooth outline. Balanced head with femininity and pleasing expression. Long neck. Could have a touch more return of upper arm. In excellent body for age. Strong rear quarters. Moves very true up and down.
2. Howgate & Hull’s Palmik Raincheck. Whippet. Another quality example of the breed. Excelling in his curvy outline for a male. Not at his best today, put off by the gazebo blowing and moving in wind. Very shapely and balanced. Moves with excellent drive from the rear and holds his shape on the move.
3. Foote & Mcauley’s Erylan Queen Maeve. Basset Griffon Vendeen (Petit).
AV Junior (23,20)
1. Lee-A-Ping’s Tony Chocoloney. Dachshund (Miniature Smooth-Haired). Excellent proportions on this male and very pleasing for size. Long, masculine head with a good eye. Fairly well made through the front. Could use his rear a touch more on the move but holds a good outline.
2. Phillips’ Shakina Cotton Candy. Rhodesian Ridgeback. Good sized bitch and pleased for proportions. Balanced head with pleasing expression. Well made front with good forechest. A touch heavy through the underline. Good bone and feet. Sound, if a little lazy on the move.
3. Trigg’s Rosalie Beth.
AV Yearling (6,4)
1. Crosse’s Cairnstorm Lullaby JW. Irish Wolfhound. A very balanced bitch and all of a piece. Not overly tall but with super substance for size. Her outline flowed throughout. A touch close in the rear going away, but a very pleasing and active mover.
2. Lee-A-Ping’s Tony Chocoloney. Dachshund (Miniature Smooth-Haired).
AV Open (9,5)
1. Kerr’s Udalie Du Menuel Galopin (Imp FRA). Whippet. Lovely racey bitch who has a curvy outline and is balanced in angulation, better than 1 in front. Lovely feminine head. Excellent condition and moving on a light and free stride.
2. Martin’s Bowdonia Go The Distance for Stalwart. Whippet. Masculine male in full maturity. He is smooth to go over with pleasing curves. A touch strong in the head and needs more return of upper arm, but otherwise a very sound and honest male.
3. Scarlett’s Rossut Vestry with Michelroy. Beagle.
AV Veteran (21,13)
1. Bailey & Yates’ Ch/Ir Ch Tarmachan Ice Cool VW. Basset Griffon Vendeen (Grand). A very sound and well made male. Masucline head, if a touch short in foreface. Pleasing eye and expression. Shown in super condition and in excellent jacket. A very good mover, true coming and going and very balanced in profile, holding his outline.
2. O’Donnell’s Ch Drishaun Faith Is Like A Lily for Javidan JW. A very well proportioned bitch and so feminine throughout. Long and refined head, held on a long neck. Super front construction and balanced in the rear. Went on a ground covering stride and held her topline, but I have seen her go with better overall carriage.
3. Peterson’s Troopersway Gladiator JW ShCM.
