PBGV Special Yearling

1st Osbourne’s Beaujons Sophie Avec Braego

Feminine orange and white of 13 months who presented a nice image. She has a pleasant head of correct proportions. Her ears are correctly set and frame an appealing expression. Her coat is rough with a coat undercoat. She was the best moving in the class here today, demonstrating a lovely freedom of action with good reach and powerful drive. RBOB.

2ND Wood’s Beaujons Susannah

Litter sister to 1, this a shorter bodied tricolour. She has a sweet, feminine head with a lovely dark oval eye. Her topline is not as level as her litter mates’, but she unfortunately was spooked by the venue sound system so this may be better on another day. I liked her overall balance and she too has a nice rough coat.

1ST Townsend’s Overbecks Esme Shelby at Roxastan

Tricolour bitch of 3 years who gave her handler a tough time today. She is a nice type with good bone. On the stack she has a tendency to roach her topline, but there was no sign of this on the move where she strode out with enthusiasm and purpose. I liked her head which was of the correct proportions, low set ears and a dark eye. Her front construction is particularly pleasing.

2nd Bishop’s Jamar Ina The Countessa

Sable and white bitch of 7 years. This girl looked a nice picture stacked and was well handled. She is a lovely size and has a good strong neck of nice length. Her outline is good, but she could not match the movement of 1 today.

1st Osbourne’s Beaujons Wayne Sleep with Braego

Lemon and white male of 2 years. This nicely balanced boy caught my eye as soon as he entered the ring. He looks a nice image stacked where he demonstrates a clean outline, level topline and a good chest. His tailset is correct and on the move he carries his tail nicely. I particularly liked his rear quarters which were pleasantly angulated with a good bend of stifle. I felt he came in to his own on the move, where he strides out rather wonderfully with good reach and drive. BOB.

2nd Townsend’s Afterglow Curtain Call avec Roxastan

A larger made masculine white and sable boy of 6 years. Almost a veteran but no signs of slowing down just yet. He has an appealing expression and nicely shaped head. His neck is strong and he has good bone. Moved out well.

1st Howie, Avery & Miller’s vcQuiet Creek’s Limelight at Millvery for Marksbury (IMP USA)

An impressive young male who at just 14 months, presents a wonderful eye catching image. He is liver and tan and is beautifully balanced. His topline is level and he has a powerful presence. Stacked he has a super outline, wells sprung ribs, muscular shoulders and muscular second and third thighs. He is so sound, well constructed and has beautiful tail carriage. Handled so well to really get the best from him and helped demonstrate his impressive movement. I’m sure he will have a bright future.

1st Rose’s Hyndsight Better Believe It

Dignified male of 2 years of age with a super temperament and ring presence. He is a nice size and build, being beautifully balanced. His head is correctly structured with a dark eye and well set on ears. His neck is strong without any throatiness and he was lovely to go over. I really liked how he filled my eye when stacked, but felt he really came in to his own on the move where he he was simply effortlessly true. BOB & Hound Group 1.

1ST Shannon’s Packway Downlander at Erewhon

At 5 years old this masculine boy has a good head with a nice dark eye and nose. His outline is good and he stands over a lot of ground. Another with a super temperament but felt he struggled today in the heat of the venue and this showed on the move, however he was very sound and true. Well handled. RBOB.

A really lovely pair of litter mates who I am sure will switch places at varying stages of their development.

1st Severn-Kumar’s Gaelmarque Silfr Muighe 

At just 6 months of age this wonderful wheaten brindle young male was a joy to watch. He is still very much a raw baby, as to be expected, but what potential! He has a handsome masculine head with dark eyes and rather lovely small, correctly shaped ears. His neck is long and strong and leads to a beautifully clean outline and nicely set tail. He was more composed today than his brother and moved out very well, covering a lot of ground easily. BP.

2nd Severn-Kumar’s Gaelmarque Hereward

This red brindle youngster has so many similar attributes to his class winning litter brother. I preferred and particularly loved his depth of chest and feet. Another handsome young boy with so much potential. Just preferred the neck and composure of his brother today.

1st Crosse’s Cairnstorm Lullaby JW

Feminine bitch of 20 months. She has good substance and is nicely balanced with a clean outline. Her head and expression are good with a dark eye and correct ears. Her temperament is super and she showed well. Stacked she presented an eye filling image and on the move she was true coming and going. RBOB.

1st Webb & Sheppard’s Killoughery Mission Two For Inkleyboys JW

I simply loved this masculine boy’s head and expression and for me, he screamed breed type. At 4 years of age he presents a wonderfully balanced package that caught my eye as soon as he entered the ring. His well laid shoulders are lovely to go over and his outline is so clean and flowing. I loved his depth of chest and beautifully constructed front. His neck is long, well muscled and carried his handsome head nicely. He was shown in super condition and powered around the ring from well muscled quarters. A really outstanding boy.
