Breed: Pointer

Pointer
Post Graduate (3,1abs)
1st Saunders & Newton’s Corotine Velvet Tuxedo
Attractive head showing well define stop. Nicely angulated front and back with good loin. Quality oval bone and tight feet. Movement won him the class.
2nd Mason’s Freebreeze Noel Coward
This puppy gave some away in age. Good head with medium width of skull and bright eyes. Long neck and good depth of rib. Short coupled with good tail set. Movement was not as together as the winner but this is to be expected in a puppy. BP and pleased to see him go PG3.

Open (5,4abs)
1st Mason’s Morgan Van Freebreeze (Imp NLD) ShCEx
7 year old girl of good type. Pleasing head of good proportions. Well sprung ribs and well arched loin to well developed thigh. Quality bone and well arched toes. On the move she covered the ground well on clean elbow. BOB

Cocker Spaniel
Puppy (3)
1st Bacon’s Timbrec Calamity Jane
7mths baby enjoying herself today. Sweet head with good ear set. Shoulders well placed leading to a level topline and good tailset. She carried herself well on the move. BP
2nd Saunders’ Aylesmead Just The Tikkit at Oxfordogs
Stronger in head than the winner, but had good eye shape and colour. Already deep in rib and strong in topline. Steady on the move.
3rd Kalispell’s The Sorceress at Shaggylands (Imp PRT)

Junior (5,1abs)
1st Davies’ Annaside Wish Upon A Star
Presented a good outline once she settled. Pretty head with well developed skull. Moderate neck to good topline and well angulated front. Would like her a little more compact in body. Moved the best in this class.
2nd Barclay & Aykroyd’s Bruxly Love Actually of Clydesian
An attractive head with good eye shape, nice through the body and more compact than the winner. Nicely angulated front and moderate rear. Giving the handler a hard time today and I would like a little less weight.
3rd Davies’ Annaside Swing On A Star

Post Graduate (9,2abs) This class was a challenge as they were all quite different.
1st Davies’ Manchela Little Mermaid of Annaside JW
Cleanly chiselled head with good eye shape. Sloping shoulders, good topline to nicely set tail. Well boned and tight feet. Compact body and deep in rib with short loin and well bent stifle. Merry tail action on the move, where she was free and easy. Coat in good shape and not over feathered. BOB
2nd Scott’s Crankwoods Star Attraction at Anjspan
Pretty girl who was giving her handler a hard time today. I liked her head and expression with her well developed skull. Moderate length of neck to well placed shoulders and good topline. Showing balanced angulation all round. On the move she was a having a little too much fun but I saw enough to give her this place.

Open (6,1abs)
1st Daniels’ Heluin Take Applause
A stronger dog with an attractive head. Moderately angulated all through, I would like him a little shorter in rib. Good feet and furnishings. Well set tail. Moved well.
2nd Bacon’s Timbrec Doris Day JW
Nice head of good proportions and I preferred the topline over 1. Well developed rib and good tail set. Well turned stifle and short hocks. Moved on a good stride.
