Alaskan Malamute

Post graduate (1/0)

1st Katabatics bountyhunter (Thom) – This male has a broad skull with the correct length of foreface appearing slightly large in proportion to his skull. His eyes and ears are good for size, shape and correctly placed to enhance his expression. He has well boned forelegs and good feet and his topline is firm with a gentle slope to his tail. His moderately angulated quarters are well muscled, and he moved true both ways. I would prefer more length of leg for optimum balance.

Her broad skull is slightly rounded between her correctly placed triangular shaped ears and her foreface appears powerful and slightly large with a good bite. Her strongly made neck fits into her moderately angulated forehand and her forelegs are well boned and straight onto good feet. Puppy (2/0)

1st Quark of Windsor kennel at Fowlerheight NAF (Aldcroft) BPIB – This puppy fills the eye for his size, bone and substance. His head still needs to break, and his eyes and ears are good for size and shape. He has a muscular neck into a well angulated front assembly and a good spring of rib. His quarters are well developed for his age, and he has a good tail set. His top line is a tad slack as you would expect at this age and he moved well both ways, BPIB.

2nd Fowlerheight Quattro (Aldcroft) – This puppy has a lovely head appearing square with a correctly proportioned foreface and portrays a typical expression. She is correctly angulated in her front and quarters and held a firm top line. She moved true going away and showed to advantage. I preferred the overall breed type and balance of 1st

Post graduate (1/0)

1st Skyelinebull Amarula (Bowman) – This bitch presents a balanced silhouette and appeals for her size, bone and substance. Her head is good for size, and she has a well padded foreface of the correct ratio to her skull. Her frame is deep and her ribs are carried well back and her quarters are well developed in muscle tone. She moved with good reach and drive when viewed from side profile and would benefit from training to concentrate on the job.

Her quarters are moderately angulated and well-conditioned for muscle tone and she moved with precise foot fall both ways, BOB.

2nd Diablo Sivola - Williams’ Diablo Sivola. This male has a strong head but a touch too rounded and his foreface is good for width and depth. His shoulders are set well back and he has enough length and return of upper arm, but I would prefer more fill in his front. His quarters are well muscled, and he moved soundly in front.
