Bullmastiff.

Junior.

1. Mrs J. Lindley’s Hyerdunscar Hot Gossip with Optimus. Female of 12 months. She is strongly built and of good overall proportions, nicely balanced temperament. In head she is square and has good balance, with depth and breadth. Stop well pronounced with pleasing short muzzle. Jaws strong with good breadth to underjaw. Nice broad nose with good, spaced nostrils. Pleasing dark eye, ears of correct shape and positioned well all emphasising her squareness of head. She has a well arched neck leading on to strongly muscled shoulders. Chest has width and is developing nicely showing good depth at such a young age. She has good bone throughout with straight forelegs, feet are strong with well arched toes. Back short and level with correct set of tail. Good width to loin with well-muscled hindquarters, clearly defined second thigh for one so young which suggests that at she is built for purpose. On the move she did not disappoint holding her topline firmly. Good stride. I was pleased to award her the class but also BOB.

Postgraduate.

1. Williams Ms. P. Diablo Sivola. 5-year-old Dark red male presented in good body condition. Well-muscled and toned, he portrays a good of sense of strength and power. Head ok, not quite as square as I would prefer with a slight narrowing to muzzle. Good dark mask and nice clean eye good colour and pigment. Slightly short in neck and lacks the arch required. However, he has good width and strength of neck. Forequarters well developed. Pleasing bone. Hindquarters are moderate and well-muscled.

1. Williams Ms. PA . Kierlacyan Emma Jayne. A fawn female of 3 years of good size. Stands well and gives the desired impression of power and substance. Head ok but is little lacking in the balance of squareness. Muzzel short, nose of good width with pleasing wide nostrils. She has a nice dark medium eye. Nicely set ears and of correct V shape. Muscular arched neck that follows down at similar width to that of her head. Well developed chest giving width and depth. Good over all bone, straight in front. Strong in body. She gives good width over loin and moderate angulation in rear. A little disappointing on the move.

2. Bowman Mrs C.A. Skylinebull Amarula. A 19-month-old red female, with lovely temperament and in good coat that is hard to the touch. Good clean eye and dark in colour. Well-muscled body, chest deep with enough width. Correct high tail set and good firm back. Moderate angulation. Hocks need to tighten as was evident on the move. She was let down by her handler on the day by over handling.
