Puppy. 

1. Bennett Mr S.R. (Belgian Shepherd Dog Laekenois) Zethus The Great Hunter Da Casa Mont’Alves. A 10-month-old male of good size and proportions, presented in good overall body condition, with good muscle tone throughout. He is of good size and stands square. In head he has good parallel planes with ample length to muzzle. Eyes dark, almond shaped and set obliquely with good chiselling beneath. Ears set high and of good triangular shape. Complete scissor bite with good thin lips with correct dark pigmentation throughout. Good reach of neck with slight arch giving him a good overall head carriage. Good depth to chest for such a youngster. Back short with slightly sloping croup. Rear angulation is moderate, hocks well let down. Moved true fore and aft.


2. Cave Mrs A. Lisjovia Crowning Glory at Casiann. Pyrenean Mountain Dog. A Female of 7 months who is very much a puppy. Well-built and has good bone with nice overall balance. In head she has good strength and still retains her femininity. Lovely dark amber eyes that are almond in shape. Well placed ears just level with the eye and carried flat to her head. Complete scissor bite with good dark pigmentation to lips and eyes. Neck short leading into well laid shoulders. Forelegs straight with flex to pasterns. Chest developing nicely and good lay back of rib, giving good length to back which she holds straight. Good width to loin with slight slope to rump, moderate rear angulation with double dewclaw on both rear legs. Moving she has the typical free action with good rear drive.

Juniour.

1. Wescott-Smith & Smith Mrs T. & Mr S. Urban Legend Dilorini at Rozimba (IMP POL) Briard. A 14-month-old fawn male of super quality, balanced throughout of good proportions and size. Presented in excellent condition with a dry topcoat and good undercoat. Head nicely balanced giving strength to a square muzzle, stop clearly defined. Eyes dark in colour and well open giving a gentle expression, correct pigmentation. High set ears of correct length with good furnishings. Complete scissor bite. Muscular neck of correct reach which is carried proudly. Well laid-back shoulders and well-muscled forelegs. Strong firm back of correct length with slight slope at croup. Correct spring of rib, chest of good width. Good rear angulation with nice muscle tone to thighs, correct hocks. Double dewclaws present. Feet of correct shape. When moving he did not disappoint showing off all his assets with a super effortless extension and drive. I was pleased to award him Best AVNSC and G1.


2. Smith Mrs T. Ancksunamun Host of Goa’uld (Welsh Corgi) (Cardigan) A male of 13 months who is of good type with a lot to like about him. He is a good size and shape with a sturdy appearance and of good proportions. Typical foxy head with moderate stop, clear eye of medium size with a lovely alert expression, dark pigmentation throughout. Ears set well and erect. Scissor bite. Neck well-muscled, good lay of shoulder and set well. He has good breadth of chest that is developing nicely with prominent breastbone. Correct moulding around chest, legs short and of good bone. Correct length to body with well sprung ribs and good topline. Hindquarters are well muscled and have good angulation. On the move he has ample ground clearance and is able to move with required forward reach in a free active motion.

Post Graduate.

1. Leavesley Ms. B. Lizoni Lone Ranger. Collie (Smooth) A 3-year-old Tricolour male who stood alone. He is of good size and in nice condition. Coat of correct texture, harsh with a good dense undercoat. Stands well. Nice clean head with flat skull and minimal stop, parallel planes. Dark eye, a little smaller than I would prefer, set correctly and of good shape. Good length to back with rise over loins. Good spring of rib and depth of chest. He has moderate rear angulation but is a little loose in hock visible on the move.

1. Hall Mrs N. Shai Du Pre De La Sommerau At Vonandraste (IMP FRA). Belgian Shepherd Dog (Tervueren) A dog of medium size with pleasing proportions, presented in good well-muscled body condition but retaining the elegance required for this breed. In full coat which is a rich red in colour with correct dark overlay. Super temperament. Head has good balance with correct parallel planes and chiselling under the eyes. Moderate stop. He has the kindest of expressions with an enquiring look. Well-set eyes of almond shape and dark in colour, good pigmentation throughout. Lips firm and correct complete scissor bite. Ears triangular and set well and carried high when something caught his eye. Good reach of neck with gentle arch, well-muscled. Distinct withers, good length to upper arm, forelegs parallel. Nice square body, short straight back with slight slope to croup. Good depth to chest, correct spring of rib. Rear angulation moderate with hocks well let down and straight. His tail is well furnished and has a strong base, carried correctly. He moved out well with a brisk effortless action and good ground coverage all the while maintaining his topline.


2. Jasper Mrs N. Pafaxen Rewrite The Stars. Pyrenean Mountain Dog. A male of 2.11 years. A substantial dog powerfully built. Good bone and structure. In full coat and presented in good condition. Head of good shape with balance, eyes of correct almond shape and colour; dark amber. Good ear set and carried correctly flat to his head. Dark pigmentation. Scissor bite. Neck muscular and short. Good lay of shoulder, chest well let down, ribs have good lay back. Forelegs straight and of good bone. Firm level back. He has good width to loin and enough slope of rump. Rear angulation moderate with correct hocks. Double dewclaws present. He was a little restricted when moving due to the size of the ring, true fore and aft.
