Livingston Canine Society Open Show. Part 1 hounds.

Thank you for the wonderful entry of Hounds it is much appreciated. My initial problem at the very start of judging was my judging book exhibit numbers had very little resemblance to the exhibits entering the ring!!! 

Whippet junior 7 entries

1 460 Collooney Anytime Any place. She struck me upon first look around the ring. Great ring presence she has and all the qualities required. At 7 months old she has good all round conformation and outline. She moved as if she owned the ring. 

2 458 Aberlark Midget Gem, dog similar remarks apply at 8 months old, in my opinion both should have a bright future.

Whippet Graduate (8 -2)

1 470 , Cyangrange Carpe Diem I particularly liked the head shape and of this 2 year old, good overall balance and shape and outline. great moving dog lots to like. I notice sire by the same sire as my junior winner.

2 465 Ballenbreich Harris, moved with great ground cover strides free flowing movement nothing quick holding his topline well.  

Whippet Open (9-3)

1 474 Railfield for your eyes only (jw) lots to like about this dog from his overall conformation and quality. loved his overall outline, holding his topline on the move. His movement today was a delight to see especially in profile movement. BOB and 3rd in the hound group later.

2 473 Ubald Urbgenius Synergy, preferred winner today in overall balance and conformation but still had a good outline and quality. moved well.

Saluki (3-2)

1 482, Zxylasahlaam Gea’rr Vw at 9 years old standing alone in the class he still showed his overall grace and so well balanced. Clearly built for speed and endurance. This is a breed ive always wanted to own but never been able to.  

Rhodesian Ridgeback junior 2

1 484, Clauwill oliver junior , lots to like about this 7 month old youngster , great shape and outline, so symmetrical in appearance and built for endurance. Loved his head and good neck and shoulders, clean well angulated shoulders, strong back and moved well. Best in show special puppy later in the day.

2 483, Kalabaney Highland lass, today this bitch was simply out for a good time. However when settled she was a delight to go over.  

RR Graduate (6)

1 486, Priorpark William Wallace for Clanbruachan, at 2 years old I was so impressed with his overall quality, great substance in body, good spring of ribs and strong powerful quarters which he used when on the move.

2 485, Msingi Fancy that at Cynami, at 18 months he has a fabulous shape and outline , moved with ease around this good size ring.

RR Open (8)

1 496, Jimanns Hell on Heels my notes so just fabulous, lots to like about her from her head to her tail, very much a female in presence but her substance and overall quality stood away. Her movement was a pleasure to see especially in profile movement. BOB and later 2nd in the hound group.

2 495 Negasi Elberith For Clanbruachan, loved watching her splendid footfall as she moved around the ring. Great overall quality and pushed winner hard today.

Deerhounds (4-2)

1 498, Vin – De- Loire Du Triple Bois, a bitch that needs a little time to mature but her overall quality is good, loved her size and outline, deep chest and good loin and tail set. Moved well I was particularly impressed with her head. BOB

2 501, Vin De Chateau Du Triple Bois, A grand dog that maybe could do with him being a little more enthusiastic when on the move. So much to like about him.

Dachshund (wire-Haired) open (2)

1 502, Cloudside Valentino at Decalleigh JW, loved his head and shape, the best of quarters moved soundly, I was impressed with the quality of his coat.BOB, 4th in the hound group later in the day.

2 503, Tannahill Bergan at Decalleigh loved his movement and his overall quality.

Dachshund ( smooth) (4)

1 506, The Hinks dream speed of sound at lochlip, loved his overall quality and shape and outline, great coat and moved covering the ground well. BOB

2 505, Clentry Mango Passion SH CEX she presented a good complete picture of true quality. so close up to winner today, fab coat and condition.

Dachshund ( mini smooth) (4-1)

1 511, Marvale Royal Salute at Helydon, at 7 months old this youngster had it all, quality attitude and style. He owned the ring should have a bright future.

2 510, Lochlip little miss magic, a little unsure of surroundings today, just lovely moved well when settled.

Dachshund (mini long) (6-1) open 

1 517, indiko eternal flame, loved this bitch so full of quality, such a lovely well shaped head, good body and strong back moved well. BOB

2 516, Zilcan Vanilla ice for Arlatdax, loved her overall shape and outline. moved well covering ground ease.

Dachshund (long Haired ) 1 open

1 518, Swansford Padamador at Aintshe. Pleased with his overall shape and outline, great movement and so sound. Bob

Borzoi open (3-2)

1 521, Iros Sarov Veya Feya, so very elegant and regal in all departments. Lots to like even if stood alone. Moved so very well and true. (bob)

Beagle graduate ( 3- 1)

1 522, Rhiconich Goldie Hawn, lovely bitch at just 1 years of age, the best of heads and espression, good neck and shoulders moved very well. BOB

2 532, Parkebreeway summer, would like to see a little less covering, but a quality puppy in al departments.

Beagle (open) (4-1)

1 526, Molesend jackpot, lovely dog of great quality, liked his overall balance and moved with great action covering the ground well.

2 528, Blunderhall Moonwalker at Springstorm, covering the ground with ease, so well collected and balance in all areas.

Basset open (2-1)

1 530, Blevwill Ron like the wind to burnvale

He gave his handler a hard time today, I loved his attitude, good overall outline and top quality dog moved well.

PBGV open (5)

All different shapes in this class .

1 533, Ballencrieff Berneray, he decided his day was to give his handler a hard time in the beginning. But overall top quality liked his overall shape and outline and moved so well, the best of coats and condition. BOB

2 535, Callydena Rachecco, quality bitch and moved with ease covering the ground well.

GBGV open (5-4)

1 540, Ch Jaynanel A New Chapter, stood alone but his overall quality was a delight to judge, I loved his head and expression and moved with great action covering the ground well. BOB delighted to award him the winner of the hound group later.

Afghan open (1)

1 541 Sitana Silver Surfer at Zalmeerah, typical of the breed lively and having a good out. Presented in good coat which isn’t ease at this time of year. BOB

AV hound NSC, graduate. (8-1)

1 548, Revenite Mrs Fox , BVDB a breed that is so full of character and today her attitude to match at 8 months of age. Just lovely and pleasure to judge. Shall watch her with interest going forward.

2 545, Basenji, at just 1 year of age, my notes say wow, I loved her shape and overall quality. pushed winner hard today.

AV hound NSC open ( 7-1)

1 555, Basenji, Here we go again at Swanwite, fab head classic shape, good neck and shoulders moved well.

2 551, Elkhound, Ch Graythor at the venetian with llassah. Providing us with he typical vocal voice which is so typical of the breed, loved him pushed winner hard today he moved very well covering ground in that true style.

1 Basset Bleu De Gascogne, at 14 months old I could have taken this home with me just lovely, so well put together and moved so true covering the ground well..BOB

1 570, UK/irch Swanwite Take a chance on me Basenji, at 7 years of age he is so full of quality and a delight to judge, I loved his overall shape and size and quality, great moving dog so sound and true. Delighted to award him best in show special veteran later in the cold day.

2 568, Woodella Hot Rod Basenji, 11 years of age and showed the youngster how to move, lots to like about from his overall quality
