I would like to thank the committee of the society for their kind invitation to judge at their show and to award the gundog group. My steward was amazing carrying out her duties single handedly. Thankyou. 

 In the breed classes I was pleasantly surprised to award BOB to two puppies of excellent quality who also went onto win well.

The group was full of quality and a short list was made due to the number of exhibits present.

I was delighted to award the group to a Weimaraner who stood alone in her breed judging under a different judge and ultimately finishing Best In Show. 

She is a beautiful example of the breed. Her colour and confirmation are true and she is in fantastic condition. A real tonic to assess a fit dog.

The Bracco equally fits the standard and presents a beautiful image on the move. Another exhibit in super condition. He also won the Veteran Group.

Palmonas Panama Hattie BP. There is something about a golden retriever puppy that is so appealing to the eye. 6 months old. Fits into her body so well. Moves with sure foot fall. In good condition and coat. Correct mouth, dark pigment . Such a pretty head. Shoulders well laid. Depth of chest. Spring to rib. Tail set true. Good width to thighs. Moved very steady indeed. A lovely puppy. BP.

Ashbyglen True Colours at Emmabe JW Only 15 months old and is at the growing phase. Head is changing . Good bone and feet. Strong neck . Topline held on move.

Strathlon Spirit of Ecstasy JW BOB lovely class to judge. Femine with strength. Dark pigment, Correct mouth. Good nose. Has a lovely head with correct eye set. Neck flows into shoulders. Depth to chest. Good wide thighs. Moved very cleanly at rear.

Calvdale Infinity BOB BP. I was pleasantly surprised at myself by awarding her BOB over her Champion relation but her outline and character stood out. A pretty puppy who has certainly got the breed characteristics. Good feet, bone. Front assembly well placed with deep chest. Ribbed back. Good topline flows into wide quarters. Once settled she moved with good footfall. Puppy group 4.

Sh Ch Elazlsn Coronation Day JW thankyou for bringing your champion for me to judge. I always feel its a great compliment when exhibitors enter them. We as judges need to assess quality dogs of status to understand the workings of breeds. Unless judges get their hands on good constructed dogs then how can we learn? It doesn't all come down to having just 5 dogs at a breed seminar to assess. Coat is prepared so well. Muzzle has depth good width to skull. Kindly expression to eyes. Clean neck. Forelegs straight. Broad thighs with good hocks. On the move has a good stride out with drive.

Frieljoanipa Enya Dreams a good class of puppies at various growth stages. Solid Black. My notes say beautiful all through. Has such a pretty head with square muzzle. Eyes give a great expression of gentleness. Low set ears. Necessity neatly into sloping shoulders. Well boned front legs. Body is deep and ribs well sprung. Coat is coming through nicely. Moved out so well and true with that typical bustling movement. Such a happy puppy. BP.

Kimpapa Kuromi KKarrot A good contender for first place. Coat is well presented. Topline held on the move. Strode out at rear with purpose. Quality head and eye.

1.Kimpapa Kwackers Kwtch .good shape and topline. Has dropped her coat but preferred the shorter body on her. Reaches with a low stride in front and drive from rear.

2. Annalise Wish upon a Star beautiful coat. Square muzzle. Ears set low. Depth to chest. Moved soundly.

Plaiglen Biker Babe to Helenwood JW BOB. I have judged this beauty when she was younger and still she improves. Such a smart cocker with that bustling air. Standing she is a picture of Elegance with substance. No mistaking her breed. Coat is presented immaculately. Everything about her pleases and I was pleased to award her BOB group 3 in a hotly contested group.

HeLuin Take Applause. Excellent quarters which enabled good movement at rear. Super condition and coat. Topline gently sloping. Well boned throughout.

Chanangel Kiss Cam BOB, BP another top puppy from this very successful kennel. Her coat gleamed in the sunshine. Muscle showing through which held her body well. On the stack she is true but comes alive on the move. Head has required stop and slight dome. Beautiful eyes. Neck clean and muscular . Chest deep with well boned forelegs. Wide thighs good hocks. All through shows no exaggeration. So pleased to award her puppy group.
