Dukeries [Notts] Gundog Club

Weimaraner

Puppy (2,0)

1st Brownbank Florentine (Miss D Kerr) – 6 m/o bitch excelled in head shape and proportions. Nice length to ears. Good length to neck. Tidy front assembly with good deep to chest and straight legs on nice feet. Body to develop but good balance and proportion. Well co-ordinated in movement, holding topline. Very promising. BP & BPIS4

2nd Silberliss Diamond Cut (Mrs M Suett) – 10 m/o bitch. Pretty in head with good ear set. Moderate in neck into good shoulders. Straight in front but would prefer tighter feet. Good length to height proportion and strong rear quarters. Moved soundly, covering the ground well. Another nice puppy just preferring the overall package of 1.

Junior (3,1)

1st Silberliss Diamond Cut (Mrs M Suett) – repeat 2nd Puppy.

2nd Sabsky Spilberk (Miss S Pilatova) – Head of nice shape and proportion with good nose colouring. Elbows close to body, straight legs. Level topline and firm over loin. Would prefer a little more height to balance length of body. Moved out well, covering ground.

Post Graduate (4,1)

1st Sabsky Sasanka (Miss S Pilatova) - Feminine head with lovely amber eye. Good length of neck with excellent front assembly. Makes balanced and well proportioned picture on the stack. Ribs extending well back, good rear angulation. Moved out well and considered for RBOB. Surprised to see after judging she was a veteran.

2nd Wipowa Wild Flush For Ashstern (Mr P Spavins) – Pale grey bitch with well proportioned head and feminine expression. Tight, straight front assembly with good bone. Very balanced and well proportioned. Strong topline with nice tuck-up. Lots to like about her but felt she was being held back on the move and would probably benefit from a large ring to get into her stride.

3rd Sabsky Spilberk (Miss S Pilatova).

Open (5,2)

1st Silberliss Saucy Mare JW (Mrs M Suett) – Bitch with feminine head of good proportion muzzle to skull. Good length to neck in sound front assembly. Stood on tight, compact feet. Chest deep and good ribs, well back. Overall balanced of good size and proportion. Moved effortlessly, holding her topline to win class and challenge. BOB.

2nd Sabsky Svratka JW (Miss S Pilatova) – Another bitch with a lovely feminine head. Clean through neck, good depth to chest, straight forelegs. Level topline and nice tuck-up. Moderate angulation although a little too stretched out on the stack for my preference. Smooth movement around the ring and excellent going away. Close decision to 1, could easily change another day. RBOB.

3rd Enjager Elegance For Brownbank JW (Mrs C Rayner & Mrs S Maskell).
