A huge thank you to the show and committee for running a wonderful open show and for giving me the opportunity to judge this delightful breed. A large entry and a trend that I hope continues.

Puppy (2,1)

1 Spraggins Mr N & Mrs S D Tusepo Miss Scarlett, black bitch 9 months. A well put together bitch who is growing nicely. Feminine head and strong neck with solid spring of rib. Appropriate coupling with good bone, nice, tight feet. A good coat with tight curl giving a good covering. Initially lively but once settled, stood well. On the move had lovely reach and movement. Junior (3)

1 Clayton Miss Violeta Borboleta Jacques Du Moulin Du Paulu (IMP FRA), Black dog 17 months. Dog presented as steady and well proportioned and at good height for his age. Strong head with dark eyes. Good bone with neat feet, good ribs and coupling. Moved well with a strong topline on the move. This dog looked strong and has the hallmarks to go far. BOB

2 Pavitt, Pavitt, Whitehead & Whitehead Mr D, Mrs S, Mr A M & Mrs D J Foxriever Fire Cracker (AI), Black dog 15 months. Head not as strong as one. At the top end of the standard but is well put together and has good bone. Strong spring of rib with appropriate tuck up. Feet are on the larger side. Good coat. Moved well.

1 Spraggins Mr N & Mrs S D Tusepo Amazing Love, Liver bitch 6 years. A bitch in good proportion with feminine head and good bite. Solid top line both in profile and on the move. Strong bone and spring of rib. Neat feet. Not in her best coat on the day. Moved well with meaningful pace.
