Retriever (Labrador)

Class 230 – Puppy (5 entries, 1 absent)

1st – Bruadarach Ballachulish – 11m old larger chocolate dog with lovely type head – broad and well defined. Good front with straight legs and tight feet. Better stifle angulation. In lovely coat and muscle for his age with fabulous balance. 

2nd – Flyenpyg Swynona Ryder - pushed 1 hard for first place. Lovely 7m old black bitch. Just preferred the topline of 1 being maintained better. Lovely feminine head and smaller in stature than 1. Good front with tight feet. Preferred angulation of 1. Moves straight and true and lovely typical temperament shown. Keen to see how she matures. 

3rd – Acredam Miss Marple of Penkaric

Class 231 – Junior (5 entries, 1 absent)

1st – Bruxinho Ginkgo Biloba - lovely yellow 15month dog, very well balanced with good size without being overly heavy. Lovely head onto good neck. Good angulation front and hind with tight feet. Deep chested and short coupled. Solid topline maintained on the move and showing good drive. 

2nd – Flyenpyg Agatha Cripsy – 6m old puppy bitch, littermate to 2nd in puppy and can see the relation, tough competition, smaller build but very eye catching, classic breed temperament, moved with great drive and intention with solid topline and correct tail set. Good front and straight legs onto tight feet. Better hindlimb angulation present than the other puppies. Developing well for age. An exciting future ahead for her. BPIB. 

3rd – Bruadarach Ballachulish  

Class 232 – Post Graduate (8 entries, 2 absent)

1st – Harrop Ravenheart of Marlucove – lovely balanced bitch that caught my eye quickly in the line up. Lovely head and strong neck onto good forechest. Straight legs onto tight feet. Good angulation fore and hind. Level topline maintained with lovely movement. 

2nd – Flyenpyg Agatha Crispy – 2nd in Junior

3rd – Aughtonchase Honey Pie

Class 233 – Open (6 entries, 1 absent) 

1st – Bruadarach Baile Eilidh - 5.5year old chocolate bitch, her movement just made her stand out in a strong class. She had lovely overall balance and profile. Level topline with good angulation present. Straight legs and tight feet. Lovely head and in lovely coat and condition. BOB

2nd – Flyenpyg Jurgen Chopp JW – slightly younger black bitch with a lot of promise and pushing 1 hard for first place today. Lovely balance overall, solid topline and well muscled. Coat not quite in as good condition as 1 today. Lovely feminine head and another lovely mover, just preferred 1 today but only just! 

3rd – Lejie Sugar Almond At Penkaric
