I would like to thank the club for the invitation to judge today and to the exhibitors for your group of well presented Norfolks.

Class 1: Special Beginner Dog; 1. Mrs. J. Thompson & Mr. N. Pope’s Belleville In A Word; 3-year-old dog in good coat, attractive head with good expression, correct bite, would prefer ears to lay closer to cheek, good length of neck into a well laid shoulder, level topline, tail carried well however would improve silhouette if set slightly higher, good on the move, Best SB. 2. Miss. J.E. Lincoln & Mr. S.T. Eady’s Pryorvale Erme; Not in coat today, nice topline but lacks the maturity and substance of 1 although demonstrated a wonderful disposition.

Class 3: Puppy Dog; 1. Miss D. Jenkins’ Kingsridge Dark Moon; Didn’t expect to find my top winner so early in the day but what a handsome dog he was! 11 months, full up on size which did not bother me when he created such a pleasing outline exuding breed type. A lovely masculine head, with broad skull and well set ears of correct size for head, good bite, strong neck into good shoulder, lots of bone on perfect straight forelimb, excellent chest and spring of rib, level topline into tail well set and excellent carriage, hindquarters very well muscled which combined with correct fore and rear assembly gave a beautiful true movement from all angles, BPD, BPIS, BD, BIS.

Class 4. Junior Dog; 1. Mrs. R. Gee’s Watercroft Time Flies; Handsome and stylish young male, smaller in size to the previous class winner but excellent type again, lovely expressive head, correct skull and foreface, compact with plenty of substance, good bone and well set hind limb with lovely hock. Good movement, excellent coat quality and presentation.

Class 5. Novice Dog; 1. Mrs. R. Gee’s Watercroft Sticky Bud; 9-month-old with the most wonderful character! A truly happy puppy in the ring, true Norfolk stamp being sturdy and strong for age already, clean limb, compact with nice short loin, perfect harsh coat.

Class 6. Post Graduate Dog; 1. Mrs. E.D. Darnell & Miss C.E. Pointon’s Kingsridge Smart Cookie With Jacquidon; 18-month-old dog, good for size, broad skull, ears of good size and shape laying close to cheek, correct scissor bite, good substance in front with correct shoulder, true movement away and back which helped win this class. 2.
