Massive thank you to Dover & Deal Society for having me judge at their Summer Premier open show. Also, a big thank you to all who entered under me. I thoroughly enjoyed my day. Congratulations to all the winners.

American Cocker Spaniel

Class: 91 – Post Graduate (1/1)

1st – 90 – Taramount Pure Imagination – Mr N & Mrs G Tadhunter – 4-year-old bitch with nice round dark eyes, nice head proportions, with a good length of strong muscular neck running onto a fine muscular body with good spring of ribs and strong loin, good fore and rear angulations, moved well. RBOB.

Class: 92 - Open (1/2)

1st – 88 – Zarcrest After Cut for Tallisbay – Ms S C Archer, a 2-year-old bitch, correct dentition with nice round dark eyes, correct ear set, lovely head proportions with round skull, good length of neck, well-muscled, good top line with correct tail set, tail carried correctly on the move, good spring of rib and strong loin, good fore and rear angulations with lovely silky coat, showed fantastic out back and on the gait. BOB.

Chesapeake Bay Retriever

Class: 53 – Puppy (2/2)

1st – 37 - Oakmarsh Naughty Rascal – Mrs L & Mr R Thompson – 7 month-old, correct dentition, with nice eyes of the correct colour, well positioned, nice ear size and set, good broad scull with a strong muscular neck, well boned with good spring of rib, with correct tuck up, good tail set carried correctly on the move, moved well for a 7-month-old. BPIB.

2nd – 40 – Oakmarsh Mischief Maker – Miss K Watts – 7 month bitch, correct dentition, feminine head, eyes of good colour, ears set up on head, good length of neck, good depth of chest, strong muscular body with good tuck-up, moved well.

Class: 54 – Junior (2/2)

1st – 37 - Oakmarsh Naughty Rascal

2nd – 40 - Oakmarsh Mischief Maker

Class: 55 – Post Graduate (1/1)

1st – 36 – Oakmarsh Kingsley Adsila – Miss A & Mr S Corcoran & Jones – 3-year-old bitch, correct dentition, broad scull with a strong muscular neck, correct eye colour, with good nose and lip pigment, good bone with good depth of chest, coat of good colour. RBOB

Class: 56 – Open (1/1)

1st – 39 – Oakmarsh Little Acorn JW RATN – Miss K Watts – 2 and half-year-old bitch, correct dentition, feminine head with good eye colour, ears well set up on the head, strong neck, good depth of chest, good bone with good front and rear angulation, moved well out and back also on the gait. BOB.

Cocker Spaniels

Class: 101 – Puppy (8/10)

1st – 119 – Zakova Cracksman – Mrs S E Warrington – 8-month-old dog, nice dark brown eyes, correct ear set and length, correct dentition, nice moderate neck running on to a good top-line and correct tail set, good spring of rib, moved fantastically well for such a young dog, out and back also on the gait. BPIB

2nd – 114 – Jessremjul Diamond Pearls – J & S Remington – 9-month-old bitch, nice eye, correct dentition, good length of neck, depth of chest, good body proportions with short strong loin, coat flat and silky, moved well.

3rd – 106 – Cascadia Olympia

4th – 112 – Wyndsmoor Sea Of Romance

5th – 123 – Fourseasons Mix And Match  

Class: 102 - Junior (2/2)

1st – 105 – Rojoy Melody Rose — Mrs R Hartley – almost 13-month old bitch, nice eye, with correct dentition, strong neck running onto a nice top line, legs straight and of good bone rear legs good bend of stifle, nicely balanced of good over all proportions, moved well holding tail in correct position, could benefit from some ring craft classes.

2nd –115 – Jessremjul Kuro Onyx – Remington J & S – 9-month-old dog, nice eyes, good ear set, good length of neck, well sprung ribs, level top-line and correct tail set, nice silky coat, moved well.

Class: 91 – Post Graduate (3/6) 

1st – 100 – Aylesmead Blu Rose at Colmandakev – Mrs A J & Mr K R Collings — 21 month-old bitch, correct dentition and eye, ears well set with level of eye, strong muscular neck running onto level top-line and correct tail set, fantastic spring of rib, good bone, moved very well, tail carried level. RBOB

2nd –103 – Babtonkelpie Trolley Dolly – Mrs P S Gregory – 23 month-old bitch, correct dentition, dark eye and correct ear set, good top line and tail set, good rear angulation with nice silky coat, moved well.

3rd – 111 – Omennes Don’t Stop Me Now

Class: 92 – Open (2/5)

1st –101 – Chativore Sea Pebble at Colmandakev – Mrs A J & Mr K R Collings – 3-year-old bitch with a beautiful blue roan coat, correct dentition, correct eye colour, good head proportions, ears set level with the eye and of correct length, strong muscular neck running into lovely top-line and correct tail set, fantastic spring of rib with nice short strong loin, good fore and rear angulations, moved well out and back and on the gait, nicely balanced bitch my pick of all the dogs judged on the day. BOB

2nd –. 116 – Rozamie Black Pearl Jessremjul ShCEx – J & S Remington – 5-year-old solid black bitch, dark eyes, well set ears, strong neck running onto correct top-line and tail set, well sprung rib, good depth of brisket, short strong loin, good rear angulation, moved well.

Whippet

Class: 291 – Puppy (1/1)

1st - 260 – Osterfen Himeji – Mrs M Southwick – 8-month-old dog, correct dentition, nice dark oval eyes correctly positioned along with a good set and fold of ears, straight legs, good tail set, good rear angulation, feet small and compact, adequate tuck up, good bend stifle, short hocks, BPIB.

Class: 292 – Junior (1/2)

1st – 257 – Collooney Devil’s Advocate – Mrs L Smith – 13-month-old dog, correct dentition, with nice dark oval eyes correctly positioned along with a good set and fold of ears, neck of good length, good tail set, good rear angulation, feet small and compact.

Class: 293 – Post Graduate (5/5)

1st – 254 – Whippiness Eyes Down At Elvaria – Mrs S J Leverett – 20-month-old dog, correct dentition, well-placed rose-shaped ears, kind eyes with nice colour, good length in the neck, good depth of chest, well bent stifles, short hocks, moved well with keeping the forelegs low over the ground.

2nd – 253- Kuriwo Rocco – Mrs A P Knowles – 4-year-old dog, correct dentition, nice oval eye, well-placed rose-shaped ears, good length of neck, good deep brisket, stifles well bent, nice fine short coat.

3rd – 263 – Boughton Busy Lizzie For Hamiltonhill

4th – 259 – Palmik I Believe In You At Cryhavoc

5th – 256 – Pelyma Surely I’m Striking 

Class: 294- Open (2/4)

1st – 255 – Abbeyhurst Dancing Queen JW – Mrs A & Miss A Longhurst – 4-year-old bitch, fawn white trim of good coat, good head with nice dark eyes, strong under jaw, correct dentition, good lay back of shoulder, good deep chest and brisket with nice arch over the loin and tuck up, strong body with good bone, good second thigh, stifles well bent hocks well let down with nice straight rear pasterns, moved well coming and going also on the Gait. BOB.

2nd -252 – Silkridge Yoko Ohno – Mrs D P Edwards – 6-year-old bitch, correct dentition, good ear set and an oval eye, nice coat, nice length of neck running into a nice top-line with a nice arch over the loin, good amount of bone, straight front, good rear angulation, moved well coming and going. RBOB
