Junior Warrant Qualifying Heat (44 entries)

The depth and quality in this heat were super; there are more I could have shortlisted on another day. 

In no particular order;

Ch WATERCROFT SITICH IN TIME JW, Norfolk Terrier, I am not surprised she has his title already, when I saw her come into the ring your eyes just say quality throughout, true breed type, skull broad with good width between the ears, edge shape muzzle, strong jaws, excellent dentition, eyes are oval and dark eyes with sparkling expression, slighted round tip ears dropping forward, excellent medium and strong neck, shoulders are well laid, forelegs short and strong, feet are round with strong pads, compact body, strong and level back, ribs are well sprung, powerful and string hindquarters, hocks well let down, correct coat and condition, she moves so true for and aft, a delight to judge. 

Lux CH MOCHRAS MAHLORD RUPERT JW, Basset Fauve De Bretagne, Another quality dog here, again so much to like, lots of breed virtues on offer here, head well balanced with skull moderate domed, her occiput is well defined, moderate stop, strong underjaw, nose black and wide open nostrils, eyes are dark hazel and slightly oval in shape, ears set in line with eye, short muscular neck, straight legs, feet tight, shoulders are slightly sloping, chest is deep and wide, ribs well rounded, powerful hindquarters and well-muscled with second thigh muscle, tail set on high and carried well on the move, she moved super quick stride, excellent coat and condition. I am sure his UK title won’t be far behind. 

Ch REVEROS POWER OF LOVE JW, Basset Hound, I was lucky enough to judge this boy as puppy, I am delighted to see he fulfilled his early promised and very much worthy of his title and I am sure he will more CCs to his tally, my opinion of this young chap has not changed, excels in outline and shape, head is domed with some stop, super length of muzzle with jaw strong, excellent flews, super pigmentation, nostril large and open, correct shape eyes, ears low set with correct length and supple, well arched and muscular neck, well laid back shoulders, forelegs are short with strong bone, well knuckled and large feet, excellent body length with depth too, well rounded and sprung ribs, level and broad back, strong and powerful hindquarters, hocks well let down, hard muscular condition, tail is well set on, moved with such effortless and powerful stride a joy to watch on the move, excellent coat and condition. 

RISEPARK FIRST STAGE JW ShCEx OSW, Min Schnauzers, gorgeous young chap here, head is strong and of good length, medium stop, medium eyes oval in shape and dark in colour, lovely v shape ears set high, alert expression, powerful muzzle, neck of moderate length, forelegs straight, elbows close to body, strong bone, cat like feet, well placed shoulders, elbows tucked in, chest is broad and deep, excellent spring of rib for age, strong back, moderate bend of stifle, well-muscled with second thigh muscle, tail set high, moved with good reach & drive, good coat and condition, I am sure he will have a bright future. 

CAIRNSTROM LULLABY JW, Irish Wolfhound, I was much taken by her shape, correct head planes with correct shape, correct eye shape & dark in colour, strong jaw, long and muscular reach neck leading into well placed shoulders, strong bone, large & round feet, chest deep, elbows well under, long back, well arched loins, strong hindquarters, well-muscled with second thigh muscle, long & slightly curved tail carried well on the move, moved with drive and reach, held lovely shape on the move, good harsh coat.

Breed Supported entry, thank you for breed club for there kind support, such a shame the entry was low. Thank you to Breed club for their kind gifts too, very much enjoyed. 

Post Graduate (1) 1ST GJOVIKA’S GRET GARBO AT FLIXTONIA (IMP NOR), Upstanding girl, correct skull shape, stop well-defined, black nose, strong jaws, almond shaped eyes, long and muscular neck leading into well laid shoulders, strong bone, forelegs straight, feet short and string pads, strong loin, powerful hindquarters, well-muscled, moved well with enough reach and drive. Open (2) 1ST FLIXTONIA HIGH ROLLING MAN, Masculine boy throughout, correct skull shape, stop well-defined, black nose, jaws powerful, almond shaped eyes, long and powerful neck leading into well laid shoulders, strong bone, forelegs straight, feet short and string pads, elbows close to body, topline firm, strong loin, powerful hindquarters, well-muscled, moved with good reach and drive.
