I would like to thank the Society for this invitation to judge most of the Gundog Group and Best in Show. My thanks also to my very efficient steward. 

German Shorthaired Pointer

Open

1st Ingleneuk’s Cushatlaw Athena JW. Medium sized bitch possessing good proportions. Good depth, Stong neck, well bent stifle, neat feet. Moved ok. B.o.B.

German Wirehaired Pointer

Graduate

1st Clarke’s Felleywood Lightning. Balanced bitch who has a firm topline. Chest reaches elbows but lack prosternum. Well angles stifle. Pleasant head with good depth of flew, slightly narrow in muzzle. Neat feet.

2nd Simpson’s Ida Vom Holstef at Ovetil (Imp SVK). Overall smaller in stature. Pleasing head. Shorter in neck leading to good layback of shoulder. Firm topline. Would prefer better return of upper arm.

1st O’Connor’s Sh Ch Karljay Gump Circle of Life. Balanced bitch. Firm topline. Strong reachy neck. Good depth with enough forechest. Good bend of stifle and correct tailset. Pleasing head. Moved very well. BoB.

2nd Simpson’s Ijildez Vom Holstef At Ovetil (imp SVK). Good reach of neck and firm topline and correct tailset. Pleasant head but slightly longer in foreface. Slightly over angulated in rear. Moved ok.

Gordon Setter

1st Pallini Krisada Not in Kansas. Strong male with a masculine head and deep flew. Almond shaped eye and low set ears. Adequate neck, firm topline, although a little low in croup. Good bone and neat feet. Moved well. B.o.B

2nd Linskey’s Amscot Hasta La Vista Baby. Pleasant head but would prefer a more oval eye. Has enough neck and a firm topline and tailset. Moved ok once settled.

1st Gammon’s Martgarian Zantara JW. Balanced bitch with a pleasant head, good eye and good finish to muzzle. Has enough depth of chest. Neat feet and firm topline. Moved well and steadily. B.o.B.

1st Gammon’s Glenbrows Opera D’Arte JW Another young bitch who is slightly taller. Has enough prosternum and depth. Firm topline and good tail. Very good feet. Won this class or excellent movement.

2nd Hardcastle & Bradley Castledogley Firenze JW. Preferred head on this exhibit. Has good forechest and prosternum. Firm topline but has a tendency to roach. Crossed at front and rear when moving today.

Italian Spinone

1st McGrory’s Javal Same Old Scene. Almost 8 months and very balanced for age. Good head and eye. Strong neck and good return of upper arm. Enough bone. Correct topline with slight rise over the loin. Well bent stifle. Correct coat. Moved very well for age. B.o.B. BPIB.

1st Anderson’s Daledancer Frances Mullen. Preferred head of this exhibit and overall balance. Good reach of neck into well laid shoulders. Lacks forechest. Pleasant head with good finish to muzzle and well defined stop. Moved a little close behind. B.o.B.

2nd Anderson’s Wilchrimane Silen Sonnet at Daledancer. Pleasant head but a little short in foreface. Good in neck and shoulder but lacks forechest. Enough stifle. Moved ok.

1st Anderson’s Raigmore Limelight at Daledancer. Medium sized bitch. Good spring of rib and depth of chest with enough return of upper arm. Lacks forechest. Has adequate neck, firm topline. Well bent stifle and good width of thigh. Neat feet. Moved well.

1st Wood’s As Good As It Gets Wavelet With Sinduda. 8 month old dog of good size. Good layback of shoulders and ribs well sprung ribs. Chest reaching to elbows. Moderate bend of stifle. Firm level topline. Moved very well. B.oB,BPIB

1st Wood’s Chanderhill Eagle Eye Sinduda, Shown with shorter coat. Preferred moderate length of neck of his exhibit and is also elbows were closer to body. Good ribs and moderate bend of stifle. Moved well.

2nd Wood’s Sh.Ch. Pabiagas Sergio Sinduda JW. Shown with longer coat. Has good topline, deep chest and correct bend of stifle. Would prefer elbows to be closer to body. Moved well.

Rayner and Maskell’s Enjager Elegance for Brownbank. Very stylish outline. Good length of ribs. Firm topline, very good prosternum and depth of chest. Would prefer a little more length of foreleg. Moved very well. B.o.B.

1st Stewart’s Timouron Sign of the Times. Balanced puppy with masculine head. Good bone and straight front with pronounced prosternum, well ribbed. Neat feet. Correct tail, although carried a little high. BPIB

1st McDonald’s Darmilye Dancing Queen. Balanced bitch. Pleasing head, strong neck, enough return of upper arm. Ribs well sprung. Enough bone, neat feet although would prefer stronger pasterns. Strong tail carried a little high. Moved well.B.o.B.

1st Davis’s Rochevale Palm Reader JW. Another balanced bitch with good neck and shoulders. Enough depth and tight elbows. Neat feet. Correct tailset when standing. Powerful hind quarters. Moved well.

1st Morris & Jefferson’s Mycalleys Jasmine. Head with correct rounded skull and pronounced stop. Enough finish to muzzle. Firm sloping topline from strong neck. Good depth of chest. Correct tail. Moved well. BPIB

1st Morris’s Mycalleys Sirocco JW. Masculine head with eyes set apart. Deep flews. Arched strong neck flowing into sloping topline. Good depth throughout with adequate return of upper arm. Good tailset. Moved well. B.o.B

1st Barrass’s Bebecova Cowboy Carter. 8 month old male. Very balanced outline. Great bone. Pleasant head but work over eye needs to come. Straight front and tight feet. Well off for prosternum and depth of chest. Well sprung ribs. Moderate bend of stifle. Good tail carriage and moved well. BPIB

1st Nesbitt’s Creeark Austin Healey from chabrouille ShCEx. Broad skull. Good finish to foreface. Strong bone, neat feet. Good spring of rib and deep chest. Strong neck leading to well laid shoulders, followed by correct topline. Tight elbows. Strong quarters with moderate bend of stifle. Moved ok once settled. B.o.B.

2nd Barrass’s Bebecova Uniqueness. Preferred the head shape of this bitch. Straight front and good feet. Standing a little high at the bum today. Moved well. 

3rd Pickering’s Wymeswold Verdejo at Greencourt (Imp NLD).

1st Davies Annaside Wish Upon a Star. Black bitch who is up to size but liked overall balance. Pleasant head, good eye, Well defined stop and good finish to foreface. Reachy neck, firm topline finished with a good croup. Enough depth and prosternum, neat feet. Well bend stifle. Moved well. BPIB

2nd Proudler’s Kimapa Kuromi Karrot. 6 months old and very pretty head. Low ears. Good reach of neck and layback of shoulder. Firm topline and correct tailset. Moves well for baby.

3rd Barber-Ball’s Kalispells Kings Secret for Brabazonia (Imp PRT)

1st Scott’s Crankwoods Star Attraction at Anjspan. Feminine bitch with correct head and eye shape. Enough stop and work over the eye. Low set ears and nice finish to muzzle. Good front with pronounced forechest and depth. Neat feet. Good length to rib. Firm topline and correct tailset carried lightly below the level of the back. Moved very well.

2nd Dolan’s Snowgage Shine On JW. Lovely outline. Pleasant head but would prefer a little more stop. Low set ears. Good reach of neck, firm topline and good tailset. Excellent coat and condition. Moved well but has a tendency to throw a leg when coming toward me.

3rd Proudler’s Kimapa Kwackers Kwtch.

1st Sinclair’s Chataway Dress Tartan at Duclarus JW ShCEx OSW. Balanced black bitch with striking outline. Pleasant head with low set ears and enough stop. Correct finish to foreface, muzzle square and well developed. Correct layback of shoulder and good return of upper arm, firm topline, neat feet. Well bent stifle and short from hock to heel. Moved well. BoB. Group 1 and RBIS.

2nd Davies Manchela Little Mermaid of Annaside JW. Slightly stronger in head but plenty stop and depth of muzzle. Well arched neck leading to firm topline. Correct return of upper arm and plenty spring of rib. Tail set on a little low but overall presents a very balanced picture.

Post Graduate

1st Calvert’s Calvdale Infinity. Very balanced puppy with correct head and expression. Good earset and finish to muzzle. Straight front and neat feet. Good sternum and well developed depth of chest reaching to elbows. Level firm topline. Well bent stifle. Was a bit naughty on the move but was able to see enough.B.o.B BPIB

2nd Calvert’s Calvdale Lizzie Stark. Litter sister to winner. Many of the same points apply. I preferred head and rear quarters of winner today. Moved well but lacked a little in confidence today.

1st Chandler’s Chanagel White Rose. Balanced outline. Good reach of neck, firm topline. Straight front. Good feet. Pleasant head and finish to foreface and enough turn of stifle. Moved well.

1st Chandler’s Sh Ch Chanagel Jo Sugden JW ShCEx OSW. Upstanding masculine dog. Good head and expression. Strong neck into correctly laid shoulders. Firm topline and good tailset. Well off for bone. Moved well.

2nd Chandler’s Chanangel Yorkshire Rose. Pretty bitch to was unfortunately upset by the barking around the ring. Correct head, good neck and shoulders. Lost her confidence which affect topline today. Moved ok.

2nd Pratt’s Rosyth Kind of Magic. Not quite as feminine in head. Good in body, neck and depth. Straight front. Moved well.

Best In Show.

McLellan’s Anadin Dean Ringer for Love JW. Great Dane. Filled my eye when he walked into the ring. Very masculine. Excellent head with no coarsness. Well chiseled. Strong powerful neck which is long, arched, and well-muscled. Held his topline perfectly, chest deep and well pronounced prosternum. Elbows tight with body and moved out well. Presented a very balanced picture.

Best Puppy in Show

Barbi’s Cilleine Last Wicket for sparlero. (GriffonBruxellois) This little dog commanded attention. He owned the ring. Rounded skull with pronounced stop. He is compact, sturdy, and well balanced. Moved confidently with an alert attitude.

Reserve Best Puppy in Show. 

Turnbull, Turnbull, Clegram & Bridges (Australian Shepherd). Balanced puppy with everything in the right place. well proportioned body with no exaggerations. Moved out well in good company.

Best Veteran in Show

O’Donnell’s IrCh Kalaslane Revenge for Neukiebear (IKC) ShCEx VW. (Russian Black Terrier). Upstanding girl who did not put a foot wrong. Large, powerful and well balanced. Furnishings strong and coarse. Belies her 8 years.
