Judge Tammy Louise James:

Firstly, I wish to thank the Society for my invitation to judge, the exhibitors for their support and for accepting my decisions sportingly and finally my Stewards who did an amazing job in keeping the ring running smoothly.

Special Yearling (0,0)

Limit (1,0)

1st Hempstead, Vanilla Du Pech De La Ginestelle avec Cuvana WGC

2 year liver bitch. Pretty head, dark eye, pleasing muzzle length. Smaller in type than my preference but her clean lines and good balance presented a pleasing overall picture on the stack. Good shoulder angulation, straight front and tight feet, help topline both in stack and on the move. Shown in impressive hard condition, visibly a very fit dog and easy to imagine her enjoying a days work.

RBOB

Open (1,0)

1st Tye, Irisbel The Greatest Showman

3 year old liver dog. Obviously male head, well chiselled, low ear set, dark eye. Liked his shoulder angulation, deep chest, good bone and substance to him, tight feet, good bent stifle, tail set correct Strong on the move where he held his topline consistently, a little fidgety with his new handler but soon settled. I preferred his overall size to limits.

Special Yearling (1,0)

1st Wren, Glenbrows The Time is Now at Gwynmarren

21 month male. Very promising youngster who I would dearly have loved to give BOB but he was initially a little nervous in the challenge due to commotion in the adjoining ring, he pulled himself together for the RBOB challenge. Really liked his head: dark eye, dark nose, good muzzle length. Would prefer little more chest but this will develop with age. Straight front, tight feet, held topline throughout, good bend stifle. Moved well.

Post Graduate (2,0)

1st Batey, Glenbrows Best of Friends

5 year male, larger type than 2nd. Like his head, good muzzle width, dark eye. Held topline, deep chest, tight feet, on the move he drove round the ring strongly and cleanly. I felt he was more of the finished dog than 2nd.

2nd Doyle, Helgen Hurricane Dorian

2 year bitch, I feel she is one of those bitches to whom time will become the best friend of, she will body up and mature beautifully and should not be rushed, would love to see her again a couple of years. Slighter in head than 1st, with pretty expression and very feminine features. Straight front into tight feet, correct tail set, enough body for age, held topline. Precise in movement and shows excellent rapport with her handler.

Open (2,0)

1st Gough, Julita Rukester

10 year male whose enthusiasm and ring presence won him the class. Pleasing expression, correct ears, liked both front and rear angulations, deep chest, held his topline on stack and on the move where he was strong and precise.

BOB

2nd Batey, Glenbrows Best of Friends

Repeat of PG. I felt he let himself down on the move in this class which was a shame for him
