1st: Sladden – Canemamans Final Bow

An attractive 11-month-old bitch of good breed type who is naturally still developing and has plenty of time to mature. Feminine head with pleasing planes and expression. Good feet and a level topline, with a correctly set tail. Well-balanced overall and presenting a promising outline. On the move she covered the ground well, although she was a little erratic at times, which is understandable at this stage of development. A promising youngster with a bright future.BP & RBOB

1st: Sladden – Canemamans Two Timer

Masculine male with good breed type. Well-constructed throughout, with balanced front and rear angulation. Deep through the chest with good forechest, giving him the correct proportions and overall outline. Strong topline and presented in good muscular condition. Moved with a free, expansive trot, covering the ground efficiently while maintaining his outline. A pleasing dog.

A quality male who excels in breed type. Typical Bracco head with correct planes and an excellent expression. Particularly impressive forechest, with well-sprung ribs extending well back, giving the correct depth and capacity. Balanced throughout with the correct outline, strong topline and excellent muscular condition. Moved with the effortless, ground-covering trot so characteristic of the breed, maintaining his balance and profile throughout. A worthy winner of the class. BOB

1st: Philips & Watkins – Empyreal Desert Tempest At Glenmaurangi (Imp Can)

A lovely young bitch whom I admired very much. Elegant while retaining the substance expected of the breed. Feminine head with a kind expression, dark eye and well-set, long ears. Excellent reach of neck flowing into a firm, level topline. Presented in a quality silky coat and standing over good bone. On the move she showed plenty of enthusiasm with a long, free stride, although at times she was just a little forward in her action, which should settle with maturity. A very promising youngster who deserved both Best Puppy and Reserve Best of Breed.

2nd: Mazzeo & Warren – Benbuies Last Affair TAF

A real baby making her show debut. Pretty, feminine head with dark eyes and pleasing overall balance. Short, strong hocks and good basic construction. Naturally needs time to develop and mature, but she settled as the class progressed and grew noticeably in confidence.

Post Graduate

1st: Sandiford – Hernwood Will Love You

Pretty bitch of pleasing breed type. Feminine, well-proportioned head with a typical expression. Firm, level topline with the correct finish to the croup. Well-bodied with good depth through the chest and well-sprung ribs. I would prefer a little more length of neck to further enhance her overall outline and elegance. Moved soundly and steadily.

1st: Sandiford & Mazzeo – Eusaint Marcella At Hernwood

A quality three-year-old bitch whom I liked very much and who I feel is still maturing into her full potential. Feminine head with a dark eye, long, well-set ears and a neck of good length and strength leading into a firm, level topline. Balanced throughout with the correct outline and presented in excellent condition. She really excelled on the move, covering the ground with an effortless, long-reaching stride and good drive from the rear, maintaining a typical, happy tail carriage throughout. A worthy Best of Breed .

1st: Dunnett – Hoedun Does It Matter

A very promising youngster from a quality pair of puppies who, I'm sure, will change places on different days as they continue to mature. Today I just preferred the overall balance of this bitch. She has a pleasing outline with a good front assembly, adequate forechest and plenty of strength through the body for her age. Feminine head with a kind expression, good bone and neat feet. Presented in excellent coat and condition. Moved freely and positively, maintaining her outline on the move. Deserved Best Puppy.

2nd: Salt – Culcrieffs Ferntower Glen Of Wetnoses

Another very promising puppy. Masculine, well-proportioned head with the correct wedge shape, dark eye and the soft, intelligent expression so typical of the breed. Good quality coat and balanced outline. At this stage I would like to see him strengthen and fill out in his hindquarters as he matures. He moved soundly with a free stride and has plenty to like.

1st: Romeo-Dieste – Hopevalley Morning Xanadu JW

A very smart, quality exhibit with much to admire. Typical clean, well-moulded wedge-shaped head with a dark eye giving the desired kind, intelligent expression. Strong neck flowing into a firm, level topline with an excellent finish to the croup. Good bone, tight, well-knuckled feet and a balanced outline. Moved soundly with good reach in front, positive drive behind and the correct, happy tail action. Reserve Best of Breed.

2nd: Campbell & Brown – Ronevorg King Of Attitude

Not as mature in body as the winner, which is understandable as males often take longer to develop. Masculine head with the correct wedge shape, dark eye and pleasing expression. Straight front with good bone and well-sprung ribs giving adequate depth of body. I would prefer tighter feet and more width across the second thigh to improve his rear strength. Moved steadily and covered the ground reasonably well.

3rd: McQuade – Maddhouse Diamonds R'Forever

1st: Romeo-Dieste – Sh Ch Hopevalley Morning Wicked

The complete picture and very much the finished article. Beautifully balanced throughout with a classic Flatcoat outline. Lovely clean head of correct proportions with a kind, intelligent expression. Excels in front construction, with well-laid shoulders, good return of upper arm and excellent fore chest, giving her the reach called for in the breed. Deep through the chest with well-sprung ribs, a firm level topline and a moderately angulated rear providing the correct balance. Presented in superb coat and muscular condition. On the move she covered the ground with a long, economical stride, showing excellent reach, drive and the characteristic happy tail carriage. A well-deserved Best of Breed.

2nd: McQuade – Gemswin River Of Dreams

A feminine bitch of pleasing breed type. Attractive head with a dark eye and gentle expression. Good depth of chest with ribs carried well back, giving plenty of body, and presented in good coat and condition. Slightly higher over the withers than I preferred today, which affected the overall outline. Moved freely but was a little close behind on this occasion. Nevertheless, a quality exhibit with much to commend.

1st: Rice – Tiamaria Toasted Marshmallow

A compact, well-balanced youngster of correct moderate size, already displaying many of the hallmarks of the breed. Typical clean, wedge-shaped head with correctly high-set triangular ears framing a kind, alert expression. Moderate neck leading into a firm topline, with balanced fore and hindquarters giving nice balance . Stood on good feet and showed the , athletic outline expected of the breed. Moved freely and soundly with good reach and drive, maintaining a level topline and correct tail carriage. Presented and handled to advantage.

2nd: Andrews – Tollelkin Ambonnay Of Jemmatee

Another promising junior of good breed type. Slightly longer in loin than the winner, making her overall outline not quite as balanced today. Typical head with correctly high-set ears and a pleasing expression. Straight front with moderate angulation fore and aft. Moved soundly and covered the ground well, and with continued maturity should develop well.

1st: Rice – Tiamaria Juniper Berry

A quality exhibit of correct moderate size and proportions, with a pleasing ratio of leg length to body depth giving the balanced, athletic appearance called for in the breed. Typical clean head with correctly set high triangular ears and a bright, intelligent expression. Neck of moderate length flowing into a firm topline, with the croup finishing correctly into a well-set tail. Well ribbed with sufficient substance . On the move she showed a free, effortless gait with good length of stride, maintaining her topline and carrying her tail correctly throughout. Reserve Best of Breed.

2nd: Windler – Coedhelyg Thimbleberry

Feminine bitch of pleasing type with an attractive head. Slightly lighter in eye than I prefer but still retaining a typical expression. Good depth of chest with ribs carried well back, giving adequate body. Presented in excellent coat and rich colour. Not quite as firm in topline today as the winner, which affected her overall outline slightly. Nevertheless, she moved freely and soundly with good carriage.

1st: Davies – Arelechen Galileo Figaro

Two quality exhibits made this a close decision. I preferred the winner for his overall balance and moderation. A well-made dog with a straight front, correct moderate size and balanced angulation throughout. Good feet and ample bone without any coarseness. Typical masculine head with a keen yet kindly expression and correctly placed triangular ears. Well ribbed with a firm topline and strong quarters. On the move he demonstrated the effortless, athletic action so typical of the breed, covering the ground with good reach, positive drive and correct tail carriage throughout. A deserving Best of Breed.

2nd: Salmon – Acadiabryne Tibetan Coral Of Quackanova

Another quality exhibit, moderate throughout and very much of correct breed type. Attractive masculine head with correctly high-set triangular ears and the desired kind, intelligent expression. Well balanced with good substance and presented in excellent condition. Today he was not quite as tidy on the move as the winner, which ultimately decided the placings, but he remains a very worthy representative of the breed.

A quality young male of excellent breed type and correct proportions. Strong, well-balanced head with parallel planes, a flat skull and well-developed nostrils, giving the typical rustic appearance of the breed. Strong, short, muscular neck flowing into well-laid shoulders and a straight front. Moderate angulation fore and aft provided a balanced outline, with a firm, level topline maintained throughout. Presented in excellent muscular condition with a correct coat of tight, even curls covering the body consistently. On the move he was sound and purposeful, displaying good reach, strong drive and an effortless, athletic gait. A very promising youngster BOB

2nd: Abrahams – Fivenineplus Azahara By Adormidera

A smaller, feminine bitch of pleasing breed type. Attractive head with a typical expression, although her eye was a shade lighter than I prefer. Well-balanced overall with sufficient substance for her size. Presented in an excellent coat of consistent, dense curls. Moved particularly well, covering the ground with a free, athletic action while maintaining her outline.

1st: Donaldson – Prizelands Frosted Fancy

A moderate, well-balanced exhibit who appealed for overall breed type and correct proportions. Typical head with the desired rustic expression. Neck on the shorter side but strong, flowing into a firm, level topline. Well-bodied with balanced angulation and presented in a correct coat of even, well-formed curls. Moved freely and soundly with good drive, maintaining a balanced outline throughout to take the class.RBOB

2nd: Abrahams – Adormidera Ziggy Stardust JW

Another quality exhibit of good breed type, with many of the same virtues as the winner. Typical head and expression, balanced proportions and presented in a correct curly coat. Today he was not quite as settled or coordinated on the move as the winner, which affected the final decision, but he remains a sound representative of the breed.

3rd: Abrahams – Cravessas Right On The Dot By Adormidera

1st Parson , Quensha Thinking Out Loud At Bransett , Irish Setter, this boy looked the best I have seen him, masculine head, kind expression, good reach of neck, strong front, gentle sloping topline with correct finish to his croup. Moved well showing lovely reach and drive. Shown in good muscular condition and in excellent coat.

2nd Weyman – More Than Amazing Wanna Be A Gangster At Spuffing JW (Imp Bel)

A masculine dog of pleasing breed type, balanced throughout and presenting a clean, athletic outline. Attractive head with the correct proportions, dark eye and the gentle, intelligent expression so typical of the breed. Well-laid shoulders with good depth of chest and ribs carried well back, giving adequate heart room. Strong loin and well-muscled hindquarters with moderate angulation. Moved freely with good reach in front and positive drive from the rear, maintaining a firm topline. Presented in good coat and condition.
