Thank you to the committee for the invitation to judge this fabulous Show Just a quick note: I do understand that some do not believe in preparing the dogs for shows by washing and brushing However, it really isn’t nice for a Judge to have to put their hands on these dogs if they are not clean and its not nice for the other dogs who follow them to have a Judge with hands that smell of urine to go over them It was not “a little accident” my hands smelled for the rest of the day despite washing my hands multiple times and using alcohol gel. I’m sure your own dogs do not feel comfortable either.
Despite this I had a good entry and there was enough quality for me to have to make some difficult decisions Some very promising youngsters coming through too so in all, a fabulous day.

1.FORMAN’S KASTINA HEART OF LUTETIA TO SUZDANS (B)
I really liked this young female who was so well put together Feminine in outline yet retaining strength for age and size. Attractive headpiece with lovely expression. Dark eye well set ears which were used to her advantage Good strength to muzzle in proportion to skull. Moderate length of neck into well laid shoulder Excellent coat texture, bone and substance Bredth and depth of chest as it should be for age with still time to develop fully She came into her own on the move Once she found the correct gait to accommodate the floor, she showed a well balanced, powerful gait retaining strength in rear she is very true on the move in all directions. Super character and temperament. RBOB

1.STEVENS’ CH WINDGUNN’S BLAZE TO ASHVENS (D)
The standout dog for me today A very balanced outline which was strong and powerful to the eye and did not disappoint under hand. Strong, masculine head with a beautiful expression His ears were well set and in balance. He could use them a little better to his advantage but that did not detract from all of his other qualities Excellent bone and substance Well sprung rib Balanced angulation muscular loin and well set tail Excellent muscle tone and conditioning with super coat texture Lovely strong hocks which were straight on the stand and on the move. Firm strong topline maintained on the move which looked both powerful and effortless coving the ground with ease. He was a joy to watch and my eye was drawn to him for balance and free movement Super temperament, calm and confident yet alert to surroundings. A well deserved BOB Thrilled to see him awarded PG3 later in the day.

2 year old male of good size Good head proportions but would prefer a better eye shape. Moderate bone and substance. Balanced angles. Correct coat texture Chest to elbows Would like a little more breadth to chest. Powerful on the move but not as clean as my class winner.

Very nice in profile this 2 year old male has a lovely head and expression with a beautiful dark eye and well set ears. Lovely outline and balanced angulation Very nice front construction. Good spring of rib and slight tuck up. Bone in balance to frame and nice feet and slight slope to pasterns I really liked him he just struggled with the floor a bit today which had an effect on his movement. He covered the ground well just a little uncoordinated at the rear.
