Welsh Corgi (Cardigan)
It was a great pleasure to be invited to judge this show. My thanks to the committee for the warm welcome, home-cooked lunch and the wonderful gift, I even won on the raffle! I was delighted to have the opportunity to judge so many quality dogs and my thanks to everyone who entered, the friendly atmosphere and the sporting behaviour of the exhibitors.

12 years and in fine form, bridle with a pleasing head with masculine, alert expression, strong with a good depth of chest and strong front quarters. Well-boned down to his feet with a firm topline, carrying a little bit of extra weight at present, very well coated with a good length of brush tail, purposeful on the move. BVD.
Puppy Bitch (2,1)
1. Field’s Under Moonlight Ferarry Stile for Caiedw
Very pretty b/m with much potential, appeals very much for breed type with a super head and expression, well boned and built yet feminine with a well-made body, good bend of stifle and strong straight hocks, sound and free on the move, carries her tail well and holds her shape. Just needs a touch more confidence. BPIS

Very typical and expressive head with large erect ears, dark eyes, alert, good front with a well set neck with depth of body, level topline, strong loin, well angulated hindquarters with strong hocks and plenty of padding to feet, steady, strong movement.

3.Evans’s Lidoffad Celtic Dream
Very nice b, alert, active (very!) and well balanced, she just wasn’t co-operating today.
Open Bitch (4)
1 Fitzpatrick-Graham's. CH. Ancksunamun Hallows Eve JW
A classy brindle who I given a club show BIS to before, mature with so much quality and type. Very balanced all through, loved her head and intelligent expression, correct balance of foreface to back skull with dark eyes, well-built in front with ample pro-sternum, well-ribbed with a firm level topline which held firm on the move. Well boned to her feet with smooth purposeful movement, I just thought she was looking a little heavy today in the challenge and I preferred the ground clearance on the BB & RBB which was her very promising daughter!
2 Fricker’s Ch Kerman Who’l Com A Waltzing (AI)
Super brindle and another previous club show BIS winner under me, she is so feminine with a pleasing head being proportionate for width and length with good sized ears, well-shaped eyes, smooth cheeks with refined chiseling, good reach of neck, oval shaped front when viewed front on with shoulders well placed and close elbows, well-padded feet and complementary rear angles. Free and active on the move, she is still young in Cardi terms and just lost out on overall maturity to 1 today – splitting hairs!
3 Davies’ Joseter Ooh Betty at Ceranda
Veteran Bitch (5,1)
1 Fricker’s Ch. Kerman Field of Dreams
A real favourite of mine and I have never seen this brindle b look better than today. Smart and clean outline, feminine all through but with strength of body and bone, her head is well proportioned and beautifully chiseled with moderate stop and large well set ears, dark eyes, muscular neck, firm topline, well ribbed back with good length, short loin and tucked up underline with good ground clearance, prominent prosterum, stands on good bone and well- padded round feet, effortless, balanced gait. Shown in super condition, just couldn't be denied today BB, BIS, BVB, BVIS
2 Langford’s Caprian The Vixen JW
A lovely balanced tri bitch, well-made and in proportion whom I have always liked for her workmanlike gait. Very typical head shape with large erect ears and a very gentle, intelligent expression, well wrapped front with depth of body, level topline, strong loin, well angulated hindquarters with strong hocks and plenty of padding to feet.
3 Frogagatt’s Wildcard Queen Of Clubs For Gerefa
Belies her age, in super condition, with a pretty head, good neck and layback of shoulder, good length with strong rear and firm vertical hocks, well set brush tail, moves with purpose.
