I would like to thank the officers and committee of London and Provincial Collie Club for allowing me to judge the smooth Collies at their August Open Show (Two) and Best In Show (One). I had a fabulous quality entry of 23 Smooths with only 3 absent. The weather and the venue added to a lovely show with a super atmosphere. My general observation was that there were one or two exhibits I would like to have been longer in back length and one or two to have a sweeter eye but the quality was very evident throughout.

Class 17 Baby Puppy Dog or Bitch 1-0

1st Blamorder Striking Steel Via Kczkodan

A very happy 4 month old young girl well broken blue merle loving life and a credit to owner and breeder.

lovely balance throughout nice length of back with a lovely reach of neck and a nice expression coming from a nice eye and well placed and used ears. Very promising future.

Class 18 Veteran Dog 2-0

1st Ch/Multi Ch Winter is Coming To Tentola. 10 year old blue merle with a nice coat colour which was well broken. Nice masculine head with correct flat skull, nice ears placed well and used to advantage. Nice expression with a good eye. Deep chest and good bone and correct length of back with level topline and moved well for his age.

2nd Rylance Moonshine Over Brackenhaye. Another blue 8 years of age again with a nice coat colour. Kind expression with a nice eye. Not quite parallel in head plains. Good balance throughout and length of neck. Moved soundly with drive.

Class 19 Special Yearling Dog 3-0

1st Coldelee Take It To The Limit. 18 month old Sable & White with a lovely blunt wedge head with level head plains and expression. Well set dark eye. Correct placement and well used ears. Good reach of neck with a level topline. Deep chest, good bone and moved with drive.

2nd Wynele Ace Of Spades. 13 month old tricolour with a nice head and expression. Good reach of neck, deep chest, good bone and length of back and moved well and with purpose.

3rd Blamorder Starman.

Class 20 Limit Dog 1-0

1st Koczkodan Well I Never. 3 year old tricolour with a good length and balanced body. Nice eye and expression with well placed and used ears. Correct parallel head plains and moved out with drive.

Class 21 Open Dog 3-1

1st Shulune Imperial Inkheart With Casatentola. 2 year old blue merle with good substance and size. Excellent make and shape with a nice head and expression with a flat skull good ears and well rounded mussle. Nice length of back with good angulation front and rear and producing a sound moving dog. 2nd Blamorder Magic Maker With Freejack JW. 3 year old sable and white another correct sized male with a masculine head and expression with a nice deep chest correct balance throughout and moved soundly.

1st Ch Oakestelle Artemis ShCExVW 9 year old blue bitch I first judged as a 15 month old youngster I loved her then and I still do. Sweet feminine head and expression with ears used well. Lovely balance throughout which was evident on the move which was excellent for her age. An excellent broken blue colour and was very attentive to her handler. BVB BVIS

2nd Koczkodan Serenity VW A 10 year old tricolour in great condition with a nice head and expression beautifully proportioned, "nice sized" bitch with a strong, well-arched neck a strong front end and a lovely forechest. She moves, for her age, with a smooth, easy, and ground-covering length of stride.

1st Blamorder Starstuck By Versatilis. Beautifully coloured sable and white with excellent coat texture. Super head and expression. Beautifully balanced in the head, complete with correct almond-shaped eyes and a strong underjaw. She is a well-proportioned girl with plenty of bone substance, well-laid shoulders, an excellent depth of chest, and well-sprung ribs. Moved soundly with balanced hindquarters and promotes herself well in the ring. RBB

2nd Koczkodan In My Heart. A beautifully feminine wedge-shaped head with well-proportioned, sweet, and lovely sweet expression. Ears are excellent, contributing to her expression. Nicely balanced outline with flowing lines give her a great shape, great rear quarters giving great performance on the move and happy in the ring.

1st Ch Coldelee Eternal Sunshine. 4 year old happy girl, a classic, clean head with correct wedge shape, flat skull, a rounded muzzle. Lovely dark eye with correct shape and placed ears. A lovely silhouette with elegance, and clean outline, a well-arched neck with well-laid shoulders, good spring of rib and a level back excellent movement with reach and drive.

1st Ch Blamorder Double Or Quits Of Oakestelle JW 2 year old blue merle with a beautiful feminine head, featuring a well-balanced correct planes, a sweet expression, dark, almond-shaped eyes. Correctly positioned ears high on top of her head. Sound body with a moderate neck with excellent tail set and carriage, great hind angulation. Sound movement in the ring.
