Thank you to the committee and officers inviting me to judge at this lovely show. Lunch & refreshments were lovely and of course my amazing stewards that kept the ring running smoothly.

Many of the dogs struggled with the uneven covering on the floor which impacted on their movement and behaviour in their class. This was taken into account when making placements.

Puppy: 2/1

1st Shennan's Ashiblack Babycham BPIB, BOB & PG3. 8 month old, commanded the ring when he entered. Sturdy but not overdone. Lovely head, dark round eyes, high placed ears. Front legs straight, hindlegs set well under body without excessive angulation. Lifted feet high when moving briskly round the ring.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Puppy: 1/0

1st Boneva's Kenaspire Trixie Isak BPIB. Lovely balanced head with large dark round eyes, strong jaw with well tapered muzzle. Short coupled body with good spring of rib. Shoulders well laid back, legs with moderate bone. Moved true front & rear.

Junior: 0/0

Post Graduate: 2/0

1st Taylor's Luvtayl's Million Dreams JW. Large dark round eyes, good scissor bite and high set ears. Good movement and maintained a level topline. Feet well cushioned with feathering.

2nd Lee's Kelrick Flower Power. Feminine head with the loveliest expression. Level topline maintained at all times. Preferred movement of 1st on the day.

1st Taylor's Luvtayl Reach Out In Faith BOB. Well balanced with a level topline. Slighter heavier in frame which did not detract from the overall picture. Sweet expression, large dark round eyes, shallow stop and scissor bite. Moved well.

2nd Lee's Kelrick Let's Have A Kiki. Pushed hard for 1st place but ultimately preferred movement of 1st.

Chihuahua (Long coat)

Puppy: 3/1

1st Wills Paulwilchi Polly Willow BPIB. Good overall topline. Good for coat, using ears well, eyes round and dark. Movement impeded by uneven ground but could see it was free moving and elegant in action.

2nd Halliwell's Willachans Pollyfila. Overall slightly larger than 1st. Good for both shape and head qualities with a short muzzle and defined stop. Again, movement impeded by ground but moved well on the whole.

Junior: 3/1

1st Wills Paulwichi Polly Reginaldo. Sibling to puppy winner. Very similar in type with little to split between the 3 puppies. Won today due to overall showmanship.

2nd Halliwell's Paulwelchi Polly Boojangle. As above, lovely movement, less confident on the table today. I'm sure this will improve and will have a successful career ahead.

1st Entwistle's Ch Dorenty Textututango BOB & G3. An excellent head with lovely expression. Good mouth, nicely set dark eyes & ears set high. Nicely coated with soft texture. Good front with enough forechest. Topline is level & tail is set on high. She moves well despite flooring.

Chihuahua (Smooth coat)

Puppy: 2/1

1st Platek & Holmes Laptek Whole Nine Yards at Cazants. Well made boy, nicely constructed. Well rounded apple domed skull, shallow stop, dark round eyes, ears set high. Moved well and was unphased by the flooring.

Junior: 2/1

1st Platek & Holmes Laptek Cool Hand Luke at Cazants BPIB & PG4. Good skull shape and uses his correctly placed ears well. Good length of muzzle with scissor bite. He doesn’t have anything to hide and you can see from him standing that he has good shoulder placement and good hind quarters. He carries himself well and covers the ground with ease.

Post Graduate: 4/2

1st Wills Paulwilchi Polist Irene. Small but compact girl with feminine head. Correct scissor bite with good dentition. Straight front, good overall balance and a pleasing silhouette.

2nd Hartley & Fahey's Zoomeera Stormbreaker. Pleasing head and expression with a well defined stop. Well placed ears. Good neck into level topline. Slightly longer in loin. Good rear angulation. Sound mover.

1st Holmes Cazants Where's Wally BOB. Head is of good shape. Dark round eyes, strong jaw. Good length to neck and well laid shoulders. Straight front. Topline level with good length to loin. Rear angles good. Moved out with reach and drive.

2nd Hartley & Fahey's Zoomeera West End Girl JW. Correct apple domed skull, with correct set ears, large dark round eyes and good length of muzzle. Good front, lay of shoulder and level top-line. Moderate angulations to hindquarters. Moved ok.

1st Dean-Armitt's Etruria I Say BPIB. Lovely puppy with some maturing to do. Lovely dark eye, nice ears, strong jaw. Nicely constructed throughout, moved ok but likely hampered by the uneven ground.

1st Roskell's Witchstone Silent Wish with Rahima JW ShCEx OSW. BPB & G1. Very pleasing head of good length with well placed correctly shaped ears. Nice dark eye obliquely set with dark rim. His neck flows into his shoulder placement well and his front assembly is excellent. Good depth of chest and well ribbed. Strong in the loin and well angulated rear. Easily moved round the ring with extended trot. I had no hesitation in awarding him the toy group.

2nd Dean-Armitt's Twowayshouse Touch Of Class. A lovely girl who didn't give her best today. Well balanced skull / muzzle ratio, small almond shaped eye. Straight front, strong & sound in rear.

1st Lund's Yakee Twist And Shout To Magnetizzam BPIB & BOB. Larger in size than I would prefer. Flat, broad flat skull, nice dark eyes, muzzle relatively short and wide. Well-laid shoulder, good bone and he stands well up on his feet. Well sprung ribs, distinct waist. Moved well with rolling gait. Shown in good coat and condition.

1st Lund's Yakee The Sun God With Magnetizzam. Nice head properties, good shoulders, deep chested, nice compact body, moved soundly. 

2nd Heap & Ransome's Shiera China In My Hands. Expressive dark eyes. Well constructed, and compact with a good topline. 

Pug

Puppy: 1/0

1st Steel's Kenaspire Slopeside Spritz BPIB & BOB. 6.5 month old, very much a baby still. Lovely head, would prefer darker eye but that doesn't distract from his pleasing expression and good short, square muzzle. Nicely set and tightly curled tail. Nicely constructed, moving well considering the ground.

1st Lynne's Chandshar Hillbilly Bone. 4 year old boy. Nice shape in profile but carrying a tad too much weight for my liking. Lovely head type with enough wrinkle, nice dark eye and neat ears. Moved out well but knitting on rear movement.

1st Lynne's Briddish Country Roads. 7 year old boy. Similar to PG winner, lovely profile but carrying a tad too much weight for my liking. Nice head, dark eye and good pigment. Moved ok.

1st Austin's Garnox Damien At Mairichis. BOB & G4. Very smart young man that I have judged previously, he continues to bloom. Lovely head with round expressive eye, good pigment, well set ears with plenty of fringing. Squarely built. Length of leg is slightly greater than the depth of body. Brisk, positive action, maintaining topline on the move.

1st Austin's September Song of Mairchis. Correct shaped head with high set large fine ears. On the move she has a brisk, positive gait but was slightly impeded by the ground today.

1st Richardson's Delbrupar's Chatahoochee BPAVNSC & PG2. Correct proportions and balanced throughout. Lovely pigmentation. Good front, neck length and shoulders. Good body, depth of rib and well muscled hindquarters. Beautifully presented correctly textured coat. Excellent movement.

1st Morgan-Stanley's Banacek Diamante Bianco BAVNSC & G2. Head nicely balanced with dark eyes, and dark pigment throughout. Good lay back of shoulders, level back, nice spring of rib, correct tail carriage. Good rear with correct muscling to give drive behind. Good coat and condition.

Veteran (8 entries, 1 absent). A very strong, quality class.

1st Morgan-Stanley's Ch/Multi/Nord CH Golbourne's Diamond Noir Avec Debrita JW (Lowchen). At 12 year old, this boy continues to give his all. Perfect in profile and well made throughout to give good balance. Moved well round the ring despite the flooring and was my easy winner.

2nd Shennan's Ch Ashiblack Jinx Johnson (Affenpinscher). I was not surprised to learn this girl was a champion, she pushed hard for 1st place in a very strong class. Lovely outline in profile, moving out briskly with lift to front. Appealing head, well set ears, dark round eyes, well placed large nose, blunt muzzle with prominent chin.

3rd Wills Dorents Chewi Veeton (L/C Chihuahua).

4th Heap & Ransome's Ch Shiera D'Artagnan JW (Pekingese).

5th Taylor's Peakdowns Eugenia at Luvtayl (CKCS).
