Irish Setter

J 2: 1 Davie Zimbra Della Magna Sila at Lochfrae She has a lovely head, with a soft, appealing expression and a dark, well-set eye. Has an outline that gives her a balanced and attractive shape when viewed from any angle. She stands on a good, straight front, which provides a solid foundation, her rear angulation is well made, she has efficient movement, she presents as a very nicely put together youngster, BP 2 Gilray Forfarian Take a Chance 14-month-old dog with a lovely masculine head, dark almond eyes, with a soft gentle expression. Good length arched neck. Adequate return of upper arm, firm topline. Correct small, neat feet.

PG 2: 1 Sturrock Watt & Sturrock Forfarian Fancy Me JW A racy and elegant bitch, feminine head and expression. Her good length of neck flowing well into shoulders. Good fore-chest, into well sprung ribs, good depth of brisket. Correct gentle sloping racy topline. Good angulation both fore and rear. Very nice balance and proportions. She moves with style, good reach in drive. Pushed close for BoB.2 Gilray Jonola Singapore Sling Masculine head. Low set ears. Strong arched neck into well laid shoulders. Decent depth of chest, ribs well sprung. Straight front with good bone. Strong rear quarters with well bent stifle and hock joints. He moved well.

O 3 (2) 1 Allan Glencarron Show Must go on upstanding male, oval skull, deep muzzle and dark almond shaped eye. Strong neck into well placed shoulders, has a well angulated front, deep chest and tight elbows, he is well off for bone but still elegant, well ribbed back, nice tight feed. Correct rear quarters which he used well on the move. BoB

PG 2 (1) 1 Paton Meadowfoot Drops of Jupiter A nicely proportioned youngster, good bone, well ribbed back, balanced angulation, moved freely around the ring, BP

O 4: (3) 1 Paton Bournehouse Eternal Flame at Meadowfoot quality orange Belton bitch. Of super type, soft expression and clean finish to muzzle, slightly arched, long neck. Balanced body proportions, short back with firm level topline which was held on the move. Rear quarters have strength and width. Her movement is graceful and fluent with good hock action finished with lashing tail. Lovely head carriage. Silky coat and well-muscled throughout. BOB 2 Johnston Wansleydale Beguiled at Loonbrae 7-year-old male with plenty to like. Well-shaped head with correct stop and plenty of work round his eyes. Strong neck into well laid shoulders. He has good bone and well sprung ribs. Strong loin. He moved with reach and drive and is precise with his foot fall. BV 3 Thomson Maursett Morganite at Caspellwynd

PG 4: (3) 1Miller Cafotaliena Heart of a Hero JW I liked this dog when stood. A lovely head and expression, good reach of slightly arched neck into well laid shoulders. Excellent forechest. Level topline into correct tailset. Good bend of stifle and straight hock to heel. I liked his size and compactness, in good coat with lovely rich clear tan. Moved well behind. BoB

O 4: (2) 1 Miller Liric Just the Ticket A dog with plenty of substance, excellent flat bone. I liked his head and his type, good depth to ribcage, firm in loin. Well angulated quarters, lovely straight hock to heel. Moved steady and true. BV 2 Bell Miller Bell Balnakeil Beinn Corradail of Blairbelles A more substantial dog. Has a pleasing head with dark eyes, broad in skull. Would prefer more length of neck and slightly more lack back of shoulder. Level topline and good depth to body. Good hind angulation with short straight hocks.

PG 2: (1) 1 Scotland Daledancer Victor Mcdade Very typy orange and white with a lovely head, dark expressive eyes and defined stop. Well sprung ribs and deep brisket reaching well back. Neat tail coming straight off his topline. Moved well with lashing tail. BoB
