Royal Cheshire County Show 16th June 2026

I would like to thank the Royal Cheshire County Show for inviting me to judge my beloved breed. Also I would like to thank my two stewards Kay and John. 

Puppy

Miss E Brereton Heidevans Marius Pavel

At 11 months old, this well-grown Rottweiler puppy is showing excellent development and temperament. His head is of correct proportions with good width of skull and ears set close to cheek. Full dentition. Dark almond eyes creating a pleasing expression. He has a good reach of neck flowing into a level top line, a well set tail and a well muscled rear. He has a good front assembly on tight feet with good markings. He’s got good angulation which enabled him to powered around the ring. Pleased to award BPIB

This lovely Rottweiler bitch is just over a year old and is very feminine and well put together. She has excellent colour and markings. A beautifully feminine head of correct proportions, well set ears which she used to show off her calm expression. She has lovely dark almond eye, good rounded neck leading to well laid shoulders. Her reach of neck flows smoothly into a level topline and underline, which she held on the move, with a good tail set and balanced angles. she flowed around the ring with ease, not hurried, but moving at her own natural pace—just as a Rottweiler should.

19 month old young bitch who’s still growing into her best self. She has a strong foundation with a feminine head of correct proportions. dark almond eye and neat ears. Moderate front and rear angulation. Correct coat with good markings. Moved with purpose around the ring. One to watch to see her development.

Miss V Ackerman. Englishpaws Linnet 

3 year old well built bitch. Her head is feminine and of correct proportions, ears set close to the cheeks. Full dentition and good mouth pigment. Eyes dark almond shaped giving a very pleasing expression. Correct coat, good reach of neck leading to a very nice front assembly, with sloping pasterns and tight feet. level topline which she held on the move, very nice tail set. And good rear angulation.

3 year old bitch of a good size and not over done. Her head is very feminine. It’s a shame she didn’t want to use her ears today to show the Rottweiler expression. She has a good length of muzzle and good nose pigment, correct dentition with a dark mouth. Good neck flowing onto a level top line and ending with a good tail set. Good angles all round moved well around the ring.

Miss G Egerton Ch Bereyda The Real Defender JW

A well presented 3 1/2 year old male of good type. Strong masculine head with correct dentition and mouth pigment. Calm pleasing expression created by his dark eyes. Good length of neck with correct arch leading to well laid shoulders and a level top and under line. Moderate angles fore and aft. He powered around the ring with perfect ease and in tune with his handler. Very much on form today. Pleased to award BOB and not surprised he achieved a well deserved WG2
