Upperward Of Lanarkshire Canine Society

Breed: Pastoral Group

My thanks go to the Upperward of Lanarkshire Canine Society for inviting me to judge the Pastoral Group at their Open Show and for their help and hospitality on the day. I would also like to thank my stewards, Ian and Jim, for the day who did a sterling job, the exhibitors and, more importantly, their dogs for making it such an enjoyable day; despite the rain. I feel it would be unfair on some exhibitors to comment on their dog’s coat as the rain dampened them and possibly put them at a slight disadvantage. I was more than happy to award the group to the Rough Collie followed by the Finnish Lapphund, Pembroke Welsh Corgi and the Australian Shepherd; all of whom deserved their placings. The Best A.V. Pastoral Puppy was the Briard and the Best A.V. Pastoral Veteran was the Border Collie.
